Prop firms = Goliath
Retail traders = David
Most lose by fighting head on.
David used precision.
Patience.
One clean shot.
Proverbs 16:32
“Better one who is patient than a warrior.”
We are Traders, not Gamblers.
Are you trading like David or charging like Goliath?

Why Your Social Life Has to Change When You Start Trading:
When you start taking trading seriously, your social life has to change, and most people hate admitting that. You can't stay out late, wake up foggy, and expect precision when money is on the line.
At first balancing your social life and goals feels harmless, just "balance," just "living life," but balance without priority is just distraction in disguise.
Trading doesn't ask for your attention when it's convenient; it demands it when everyone else is relaxing.
You don't need to disappear, but you do need boundaries. Fewer nights out. Fewer conversations that lead nowhere. More quiet mornings, more solitude, more repetition. The mistake is thinking this sacrifice is permanent. It's not. It's seasonal.
You're building something that requires isolation before it rewards you with freedom. The people who respect you will understand. The ones who don't were never aligned with where you're going anyway.
Trading isn't lonely, it just exposes who was only around when your goals were small.
Cutting off my week here, enjoy your thanksgiving fellas. Didn’t trade the best this week, but today some nice patience today and caught HOD to LOD. Will be back next week looking for a payout! Still so much improvement needed in my trading to be made.
@unknown123_123T How can one have a good system without bettering themselves. Your system is a reflection of your personal life you can’t have one without the other.
