It's a big day for one of our past contributors, the brilliant Claire-Lise Kieffer - her debut short story collection, Tenterhooks, is now available via @bansheelit and in all good bookshops.
Read her vibrant and tenderly nostalgic story 'Eating My Mother', on our website, complemented by Megan Luddy O'Leary's wonderful 'Self-portrait', which was originally published alongside Claire's piece in Profiles issue 2. Link in bio!

All are welcome to visit our free exhibition in the James Joyce Centre, Dublin 1. Our issue 3 artists' beautiful work can be viewed in the Kenmare Room (first floor) throughout January. While you're there, why not pick up a copy of Profiles at the centre's bookshop...
A bit surreal yesterday reading Kevin Power's very kind words about Profiles in his literary journal round-up for the Irish Times. Christmas has come early with Dara Higgins and Chris Beausang's (@fuailalainn) stories getting a special spotlight!
Cheers to @Profileslit on the launch of their latest edition! 🥂 We were thrilled to sponsor the celebration with some Hope Beer. 🍻 Here’s to supporting local creativity, great reads, with great beers. #CraftBeer#SupportLocal#ProfilesLit
A reminder that we're open for submissions across all forms for Issue 12 💚
It's been an absolute joy reading the stories and poems you've sent in so far, so keep them coming 👏🏻
