Today is Public Education Day ππ₯
As the Minister for Education and Early Learning, I have the privilege of meeting all the incredible students in our public education system. I also get to see the inspiring things they go on to accomplish after they graduate. That's why I am passionate about strengthening our public education and ensuring all NSW kids have access to it.
I want to thank all our public school teachers and education staff for your hard work and dedication, we appreciate what you do. β€οΈ
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning.
We will remember them.
Lest we forget.
This investment is not just about convenience, but about creating more local employment opportunities for residents closer to home and the opportunities it brings to St Marys. Itβs fantastic to see businesses like Woolworths recognising the strength and potential of our area as we continue to grow!
Woolworths has officially opened its new highβtech eStore. This will mean doubling online delivery capacity for thousands of families across Western Sydney, with the store now able to fulfil up to 6,000 orders per week. The storeβs $20 million investment in stateβofβtheβart infrastructure is needed to serve growing communities in Western Sydney.
Huge congratulations to Alex Johnston on becoming the greatest try-scorer in Australian rugby league history!
A proud product of public education, Alex was dux of @EndeavourSHS before going on to achieve greatness on the field.
There's a growing split in Sydney over co-ed schools. While Kincoppal's Junior School, along with Shore's lower grades, are going back to single sex, others are embracing it. @sarina_andaloro

I was able to hit the ground running when I returned to work, and it was made possible through her great support.
Welcome back to school NSW! Looking forward to what 2026 will bring. ππβοΈ

My heart is full to the brim thanks to all your kind messages, words of motivation and very clever puns.
I'm truly honoured, like many others, to have been able to call you my friend. I extend deepest sympathies to Uncle Gregβs family, friends and the local community at this time. β€οΈ
It is with sadness that we reflect on the passing of Uncle Greg Simms, a proud Elder of the Gundungurra of the Blue Mountains and the Bidjigal of the Dharug Nation.
Thank you for the lifelong, selfless contributions you have made Uncle Greg - your legacy will live on through all the people you have impacted through your lifetime.
