@alicex275x live for yourself: communicate your boundaries to people, survive the discomfort of saying no, and help others only until you are unable to help without harming yourself- no further. the only person that should decide if you are to be a hero or a partner is you.
take care x
the internet age feels like the world staring at itself. an orgy for the endlessly curious.
i wonder if once every human is connected to the internet that we may manifest a clear reflection of the sum of humanity.
like two mirrors perfectly aligned against each other?
i’ve been having a crisis recently about how making video games is perhaps contributing to a general pacification of people. escape, distraction, etc. these infinite “task” games seem to be the epitome of this. contextless work, total escape, total passivity. idk.
@rep_princess built a tolerance to other people's perceptions of me. plus, i look hot with the butch look. yet i fear i might be boxing myself into this archetype out of a fear for the vulnerability of femininity and thus maybe i 'repress' a truer version of myself. lmk, & take care of urself
@rep_princess ohh, i see. could i ask then, would i be a repressor? ive been on hrt for a few years now, am out to other queer folk, friends/family & my coworkers, but dont usually mention being trans to cishet people. being misgendered bothers me, but i've been trans for long enough to have -
ive avoided mirrors by instinct for a while. i struggle to picture myself properly, the face contorts and looks different every time i glance at it. now im on ritalin, i can study my face properly, i can make out my bones and features. yet i still struggle to picture myself

I kind of think if you want to stop being mentally ill you have to stop being interested in and entertained by your own illness and thats the part a lot of people get stuck on. once you get sick and tired of your own behavior you figure things out and not a moment sooner
unspoken words are brain parasites that control your behaviour in subtle ways. they feed on desire and engorge themselves. the only way to rid them is to speak them, completing their reproductive cycle
Don't want to generalize but every English person has a deep contempt for weakness that would make you think they were all raised as child soldiers or something
