It's not OK to be a sailor who doesn't know how to sail. Or a taxi driver who doesn't know how to drive. Or a chef who doesn't know how to cook.

Why do many quantitative research scientists still think they get away with not learning data analysis?

“Wait a minute! You are being too tough!” - some people told me. Am I?

The fact is that it is easy to see and criticize the limitations of someone else’s profession. It’s much more challenging to look inward, isn’t it?

So I don’t get tired to repeat this message over and over again:

- Stop lying to yourself and understand once and for all that if you work with quantitative research, analyzing data is an inherent part of your career.

The earlier you enhance your data analysis skills, the faster your career will develop and you will stand out from your peers who insist to deny this obvious reality.
