Ever wonder which of your users is eating up your Firestore read quota?
Turns out Firestore audit logs + Cloud Log Analytics = a per-user read breakdown.
Here's how 👇

@begin4ga1n While this book has more practical advice than @doctorow's previous books on the topic, it's still a bit light. I guess, like most of us, Cory is still figuring it out.
For a more continuous stream-of-consciousness version of that, I recommend following his daily posts/articles.
I read and reviewed Cory Doctorow’s The Reverse Centaur’s Guide to Life After AI, which is about what happens when we let AI do the driving and humans are left doing only the things the AI can’t.
4 stars.

@kevmoo@typefully@buffer Did you ever check out @FedicaHQ? Happy subscriber here (but their free plan is fine for most), posting to Twitter, Bluesky, Threads, Mastodon, and (occasionally) LinkedIn.
I found the story itself interesting, but rather simplistic and the wrap-up a bit too sudden and smooth. The execution through letters and emails is very well done though, and the almost-full-cast audiobook really supports the format.

I just read and reviewed The Correspondent by Virginia Evans, an epistolary novel told through letters and emails to and from retired, reclusive courthouse clerk Sybil van Antwerp.
Rating: ★★★★☆ (4 out of 5 stars)

We're six months into 2026 and I just posted the review for my 34th book of the year to https://t.co/kbdPkqRKOQ.
To see all of them on GoodReads: https://t.co/4RltXd1R41
@NoheDev Isn't that essentially GoodReads? :-)
I post summaries of my reviews there, but... more importantly for me: I regularly check who in my (internally small) connections there has read and rated each book that I consider. Really helpful!
A good, entertaining overview of the current AI landscape/bubble﹠how we got here, the motivations of the main players, and some likely outcomes in the coming years.
I doubt it’ll be the last Doctorow writes on this topic, and I’m here for future installments.
