A podcast dedicated to exploring the works of Thomas Pynchon. Each episode is a deep dive into a small section of the book we are covering at the time.
Due to various health-related issues (don’t worry, it’s nothing serious), we are postponing our next episode. We’ll be back once we’re all back to full health
Spoiler-free episode of our Shadow Ticket review will be up later this evening.
Full episode will be out on Halloween.
They are not the same—we did two separate recordings to make them unique to each other.
Hey all, I started a premium section on my Pynchon Exegesis. It's basically going to be a monthly essay on some random thing I've been into. The first one is on One Battle After Another! (Second one will be.. who knows!) All main Exegesis posts will remain free always and forever
Hello! My goal for my Pynchon Exegesis S*b*ta*k has been to get 2k subs before Shadow Ticket is released. I'm now only 36 away. Spread the good word. My goal is to make people more confident in reading Pynchon, or more able to understand his thesis. And it's free!
Apologies for the delay in getting this week's episode up. I had mistakenly set it to release at 12pm today, rather than the usual 12am. It's out there now. See ya in a few weeks for our One Battle After Another bonus episode!
Our episode on Ch. 20 of Against the Day will be out this Friday. We’re taking a brief break and are then recording an episode on One Battle After Another next weekend and will try to have that episode out as soon as possible.
This one is gonna stick with me for a while. A tremendous critique of the horrors of both industrialized farming and late-stage capitalism. Highly recommended, but be warned it is extremely unsettling in its portrayal of violence
Been reading this in bits and pieces over the last several weeks and am really enjoying it. I’ve discovered a treasure trove of new bands as a result and some great writers

I know Amazon is convenient and cheap, but that is exactly what has allowed them to get to this point. I cut Amazon out completely last year and will never go back.
Found a bookstore in Newark, DE called 2nd & Charles that had a sale where used books were one penny per page. This whole stack cost me less than $40
We had to separate chapters again ‘cause 19 is gonna be a doozy. Chapter 18 of Against the Day episode will be out on the 22nd. I wanted to get it done sooner, but I just got accepted to grad school and am mid career change, so my schedule is all over the place at the moment.
