I’m thinking now’s the time to re-read #SpyTheLie and remember which verbal and non-verbal cues suggest deception. #DrConley may be saying more than we know at first glance.
@DHensleyChicago@KamalaHarris Dani, remember that we need to know the cause of the behavior for it to be meaningful. Since she wasn't responding to a question (the stimulus) we can only speculate about what's causing any behaviors you identified. That makes it impossible to reliably assess veracity/deception.
Asking good questions and then listening to the answers is such an important skill
I enjoyed the book Spy the Lie on this subject, a fun read... quote from the book:

@ScottHanson -Rule number one in our business: consider the source.
This is very unfortunate for you.
May I suggest for your future reference: SPY THE LIE https://t.co/pXfL3ugJtU
@WorcesterCusto1 Here are two more ... Spy the Lie and Get the Truth. Non murder police average 56% at lie detection. This can boost it to 80-90%. Very readable, so useful (even at home or in normal life). Written by former CIA polygraphers who realised they didn't need polygraph any more.

@davidpakmanshow Compare / contrast Lieing, being misinformed, and having a contrary opinion / worldview.
Highly recommend "spy the lie" by Philip Houston, Michael Floyd, and Susan Carnicero for those that can't tell when someone is Lieing.
@blythemorrow Ooooh, tough to answer. Hitting Refresh (Nadella), The Only Sales Guide You'll Ever Need (Iannarino), Spy the Lie (Houston), Simple Numbers Straight Talk Big Profits (Crabtree), Trillion Dollar Coach (Schmidt) & Never Split the Difference (Voss) all GREAT.
