@KnightsTempOrg Think again about your membership of Freemasonry. It is meant to be apolitical and a religious. If you cannot accept that you need to consider your future in the order.
Last Wednesday we enjoyed a very good day at the Bristol Masonic Hall, where WBro Trevor Mckeown was exalted into the Royal Arch including the Passing of the veils experience. This was followed by a paper on the Roman Catholic Church and Freemasonry delivered by Dr Jim Daniel.
The Qccc Local Secretary for Gloucester, W Bro John Owen, and I made another visit to Royal Lodge of Friendship No 278, Gibraltar recently .All brethren received the Qccc tri-fold leaflet to endorse the lodge's connection with us, three of seven founders being from that lodge
Another successful meeting in London where a large number of Corresponsence Circle members attended Dr Ric Berman's paper on the second grand lodge, appertaining to Irish freemasonry and their Tercentenary this year. Those from abroad also enjoyed the occasion with drinks after.
Only another twelve hours before the lodge meets in London for a lecture by Dr Ric Berman. If you haven't been to our lodge, come along.
There will be no meal afterwards but a gathering in the bar where you can talk to members and guests. The lodge attracts freemasons worldwide
A very interesting Installation meeting took place last Thursday when Trevor McKeown was installed as the Quator Coronati WM for the ensuing year. His lecture on the diminishing numbers of Canadian freemasons over the last sixty years was enlightening and mirrored our UK history.
A very informative meeting at Quatour Coronati Lodge on Thursday last. Dr Rob Hammond delivered a paper on North Wales freemasonry imparting details of its early days and problems, finishing with a question as to when it will be celebrating its Tercentenary.
Back from the Royal Lodge of Friendship No 278 Gibraltar after a splendid visit enjoying their ritual, passing a young man based in London but a Gibraltarian. Three original members were founders of QC with four VC holder members in their ranks in past times.
Also, Sir Charles Warren, former Chief Commissioner of Police at the time of the Jack the Ripper murders was a member when he was associated with mapping out the Island. Certainly a lodge of some note.
Next Tuesday I fly to Gibraltar to attend Royal Lodge of Friendship No 278 in the District Grand Lodge of Gibraltar. The lodge helped to form the original Quatour Coronati Lodge No 2076.
The latest bound volume No 136 of Ars Quator Coronatum is getting to members, so if yours is yet to be delivered, a final bit of patience will see you through. Thank you for waiting.
It's been a quiet period since the last posting. However, members should soon be receiving their AQC 136 bound volume to catch up on meetings in 2023. Why not make a diary note to visit the lodge based in London FMH. It's always a good experience and you can meet other members.
An interesting meeting last night where W Bro David Peck was installed for the next twelve months. His lecture on Sir Charles Throckmorton was informative, although the visuals were not quite as clear following difficulties with the setup.
