The world's first operational high-power laser interception system is coming to Herning.
Rafael's high-power laser family is operational. Iron Beam was declared operational by Israel's Ministry of Defense and delivered to the IDF, where it now sits inside a multilayered air defense array, and the family reached operational status against hostile drones before that.
That's one layer of what we're bringing to DALO Industry Days, August 19-20.
The rest answers the same question from different directions: how a force protects itself, sees first, and strikes at range. Counter-UAS that scales from airfield and infrastructure protection down to Lite Beam, compact enough to integrate onto a light 4x4 and move with the maneuvering unit. SPIKE LR2 and SPIKE SR putting precision in the hands of the vehicle crew and the dismounted soldier. SPICE 1000 for stand-off strike that doesn't depend on satellite navigation. BNET connecting it. The result marks a significant step forward for a system already proven in combat, and a further advance in protecting strategic assets worldwide.

Another nation in Europe selects Rafael's air defense solutions. 🌍🤝

Romania has selected Rafael's SPYDER to protect its skies, the largest deal in our company's history and another NATO nation choosing combat-proven air defense, positioning SPYDER as Europe's emerging standard.

Romania's Ministry of National Defence has signed a strategic agreement with Rafael for the procurement of the SPYDER air defense system, under a framework valued at over €2 billion. The agreement provides a comprehensive air defense solution, including launchers, interceptors, radar systems, training capabilities, and logistics support, along with extensive industrial cooperation and local production in Romania.

One system, the full threat spectrum: aircraft, helicopters, UAVs, and precision-guided munitions, powered by our PYTHON and DERBY missiles. SPYDER continues to be selected by nations worldwide, reinforcing its position as a leading, combat-proven air defense system.
