With plenty of festive cheer on Stn #community & #fundraising has been key. 32 Sqn hosted a bake sale & raffle raising ยฃ355 for @savechildrenuk. Car checks & our carol service raised ยฃ100 each for @RAFBF & @childrensociety plus a foodbank collection to spt @Hillingdon ๐
40 tonnes of top soil & 15 tonnes of wood chipping later & our polytunnel is really starting to take shape. Huge thanks to our hard working Committee & volunteer network for making this happen. Looking forward to planting & growing in early 2026 ๐ค๐
Following lunch an Honours & Awards ceremony was held in the Officersโ Mess to recognise our personnel including presentation of the Long Service & Good Conduct medal/clasp, RAF Commissioning scrolls & a Standing Jt Cdrโs Commendation. Congratulations to all recipients ๐
We welcomed AOC 1Gp, AVM Jackson & AOC 2 Gp, AVM Appleton to Stn. It was an excellent opportunity for them to spend time with personnel, hear good news stories & discuss issues directly. AOC 1 Gp visited 32 Sqn & AOC 2 Gp held a Townhall generating plenty of discussion.

We also used the NHEROs 25 Awards to mark the departure of Mrs Debbie Forsythe @Aramark who leaves RAF Northolt after 17 years as Mess Manager. Group Captain Lee Wales presented Debbie with a Stn Cdrโs coin in recognition of her service. ๐ค๐

NHEROs 25 Awards: Mrs Emily Hayward has been the driving force behind the RAF Northolt Bumps & Babes Club, building an enthusiastic Committee to provide a regular hub for parents. Sheโs justifiably worthy of the Envoy to the Community Award, kindly presented by Universal Aviation
Our next NHEROs 25 winner was the Scramble Hut Committee who received the Team Northolt Award for their commitment and dedication to improve the lived experience by providing a welcoming environment for Station personnel. ๐๐๐
Please give a big ๐ to the NHEROs 25 winners. The Stn Cdrโs Leadership Award was presented to Sgt Tarra Scott for displaying exemplary leadership & mentoring resulting in a marked improvement in the RAF Police Flightโs overall strategic delivery on Station.
The Professional Excellence Award was presented to FS Rob Evans for his exemplary leadership, inspiring others to achieve excellence and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

On #worldkindnessday members of the Station Health & Wellbeing team have been handing out small acts of kindness to personnel. They popped in to ensure the Station Commander received his! Itโs the small gestures that make a big impact.

The ceremony was led by the Mayor of Hillingdon, Cllr Philip Corthorne, and included the Hillingdon and District branch of the Royal British Legion and personnel from RAF Northolt.
The Station held its Remembrance Day service to honour those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Led by the Station Padre, a trumpeter from @RAFMusic sounded the Last Post & Group Captain Lee Wales laid a wreath in their memory. #WeWillRememberThem
