More than 200 people have died in NY prisons since a mob of white prison guards viciously beat and stomped Robert Brooks to death. Gov. Hochul and the Legislature have accomplished nothing to free people from these death traps.

Another person has died in NY prisons. His life mattered and we honor and remember him.
After 42 years in prison & at least nine parole denials, he became the 71st person lost to this system in 2026. He was 79 years old.
