On Father’s Day today, my thoughts are with the thousands and thousands of dads who are kept away from their children purely because of malicious lies and a family court system that discriminates against men based on outdated and false assumptions.
Years and years. Tens of thousands of pounds. Bankruptcy. Horrific mental health struggles.
British men are put through hell.
Of course there are bad fathers, as there as bad mothers, nobody is saying otherwise - but there is no doubt in my mind that the system actively works against dads.
For decades, the role of fathers has been downplayed and underestimated - that’s reflected in the rotten family courts.
Fathers wait months to get a hearing, false allegations mean the child is taken away from them entirely. All based on one person’s word, when clearly emotions are running high.
It costs a fortune. Many men have been bankrupted trying to seeing their children.
Some of the stories I have heard from affected men are nightmarish. It does affect mums too, although clearly not in the same numbers.
It is torture. No other word for it.
None of this is about downplaying the importance of mothers (obviously) and of course there are many men (as there are women) who should not be in their children’s lives. But it has clearly swung too far, and that needs to be reversed.
That is what a Restore Britain Government will do.
Give decent and honest fathers a fair chance to be in their children’s lives.
Ahead of Father’s Day, a reminder that 10 years ago this week we stood on Sunderland’s Queen Alexandra Bridge to highlight the importance of children having both parents in their lives.

@TRobinsonNewEra@GauciReports Since 2013 almost every single case in family court starts with an allegation of domestic violence. Because without an allegation, mum doesn’t get legal aid.
If boys must have ‘misogyny’ classes, let’s teach girls not to:
-Make false rape claims
-Trap men by pregnancy
-Groom/rape boys
-Alienate fathers from their kids
-Weaponise divorces
-Grope men in kilts
-Be violent
-Expect men to pay
Happy to write the lesson plan 👍🏻
Today is International Men’s Day. 💪
So we just wanted to highlight some statistics that show the consequences of men being under represented in society.
Parental Alienation is a huge contributing factor to the high suicide rate in men and we work tirelessly to bring that statistic down!
Many fathers have been forced into homelessness as a result of parental alienation and financial abuse via extortionate child support payments.
We just want to let all the men who are members and supporters of PAPA know that we are working toward a brighter future, we see you and that we have your back.
Each one of you inspires us, with your strength and resilience in the face of adversity, to keep fighting this battle so thank you and keep going! ❤️♻️
I want to champion British dads. Because how does modern Britain view fatherhood? Too often the answer is secondary, optional, even inconvenient.
For decades, the role of dads has been insidiously downplayed. The message has been clear - you’re there if it’s convenient, but the system will easily get by without you.
A father’s presence shapes a child’s world. Children with an involved father are often more confident, more secure, and far less likely to end up in trouble later in life. Not always, obviously - this is not to downplay the incredible work of single mums.
Nobody does it perfectly, but we should not underestimate the positive influence a good dad has on their children - the fact so many children have no active father is a dire shame.
We need a complete reset of how fathers are treated by the system, a system which sidelines men at every stage - very much including through the courts and in terms of access to the child following a separation. A child needs his or her parents, and the system shouldn’t pick sides based on outdated assumptions. The process needs revising to give responsible dads a much greater say.
If we are to restore Britain, we must restore the family - and that starts by recognising the father’s role as equal, vital, and irreplaceable. Through reforming family courts, promoting shared parenting, and changing the tone. I can’t even recall ever hearing another politician talk about the need for a fairer deal for dads...
Just because a bloke might not show it, it doesn’t mean he doesn’t feel the heaviest weight of responsibility. Most dads just go about it a different way to the mum, and that’s fine. But don’t think fathers don’t care, because they do. Exceptions exist, as with anything, but the vast majority of dads want to be the best father they can for their children.
Nobody is downplaying the role of the mother, obviously, before all the feminists get stroppy with me. Again. But I am going to highlight the positive impact a father plays in a child’s life, and it’s one that should be encouraged and enabled. It’s a debate we need to have.
I won’t be scaling the Tate dressed as Batman, but I plan to use my platform in Parliament to further highlight the vital importance of British fathers. There are numerous politicians championing mums, and I fully support them.
But I want to unapologetically champion dads.
As a country, we must once again treat fatherhood as the highest calling a man can have.
BREAKING NEWS.
The family courts in England and Wales will no longer work on the correct presumption that having contact with both parents is in the best interests of a child.
Instead, it will continue to and now further enable abusive alienating parents to be able to control their ex-partners and their children.
False allegations of abuse are already incredibly prevalent but will no doubt soar to new heights as a result of this ridiculous decision by the government.
Please join us in lobbying parliament and writing to your local MP’s to force the reconsideration of this irresponsible decision.
More children are now at risk at the hands of their abusive parents and we MUST ACT!
A child’s right to a loving relationship with BOTH of their parents should never be compromised.
Terrible decisions like this only motivate us further.
We will not give up on these innocent children forced to live with their abusers.
PAPA. 💪💔♻️
10 years ago, Simon Anderton of Real Fathers for Justice scaled the Tyne Bridge on Father’s Day, and stayed up there for 11 days.
His banner read: “Happy Fatherless Day” a bold call for equal parenting and children’s rights.
We still remember.
Awful news again today of a parent who has taken their own life as a result of contact denial & parental alienation.
This parent spent years in and out of family court, initially to fight and disprove false allegations and then to regain contact and to enforce court orders.
Despite court orders for his children to see him twice a week, he’d not seen them for over 3 years.
Every judge he’d seen had refused to punish the mother for breaking court orders and instead they recently gave him a barring order for 2 years because the mother had claimed the process was “distressing” her.
This father is now no longer with us, as a result of this lack of enforcement, lack of punishment for the false allegation and the barring order.
A complete failure of the process has ensured that this father’s 3 children will never ever see him again and this father had to endure 3+ years of anguish and torture at the hands of the mother.
RIP to another victim, we will continue to fight for you and every other parent subjected to this abuse. 💔♻️
I’ve had some awful comments and messages regarding the sad suicide of another alienated parent.
I’ve had people saying it’s “fake news”.
I wish it was as I’ve lost several members over the years to this abuse.
Gav was a private person but his family have given me permission to share more details, so I will to appease the cynics.

Children were removed from the UK by the mother on 21/09/24, they will be residing in Perth, WA with their mothers new husband who is an Australian.
His mother is happy for his story to be told but is reluctant to have his photo on public display as he did not use social media and was a fairly private guy.
She said she will forward more when she has the headspace to deal with it, at the moment she is devastated as she only lost her husband to cancer last year.
The trivialisation of this abuse is quite frankly disgusting and as someone who has suffered it and seen many people suffer it I do not appreciate the questioning.
If you want to help me put a stop to parental alienation then great but if not then kindly move along.. ❤️♻️

#DomesticAbuse is alleged in 80% of #FamilyCourt cases; just a minority 15 years ago.
How many of these cases are the consequence of
• LASPO Act (Legal Aid given only if DA is claimed)?
• Lack of sanction for #FalseAllegations (may be used as tactic to deny contact)?
@ladylilo2
Our thoughts are with Ryan and his family. We are pleased with the jury's decision.
It shows domestic abuse can happen to men of any age and from any background. https://t.co/5vLn4WqfbT
We are extremely pleased to see our Honorary Patron Erin Pizzey has been awarded a CBE in the New Year's Honours List for services to victims of domestic abuse. Very well deserved. Pictured with our Chair @Belvederebrooks at her 80th birthday a few years ago.
