REPOSTING WITH UPDATED DATE: Rossi wowed us all on @GlowUpBBC with this look representing neurodivergence. Saying “you can’t get positive without negative,” he won another “ding, dong!” Rossi will be joining @nationalfasd for FB live Thurs 25 April 7:00pm #BBCThree#DingDong
👏👏🤩⬇️ Thank you @GlowUpBBC for highlighting our organisation for those who might have been affected by watching Rossi and who might need further information #FASD#Hope#FindTheirBrilliance#BBCThree
Give FASD a seat at the table. In disability, policy, and neurodiversity spaces- FASD should be a part of conversations so we can best support those living with them. This is a crucial mission for an empowered future.
Stay tuned for our Seat at the Table website, coming soon.
Absolutely love this from Carter, 2023 @SuffolkPTS
So important that we remember this!
'When children cannot hold hope for themselves, we must be explicit in communicating our belief in their future and hold the baton of hope until they are ready to receive it'.

Long time no tweet- I return to share exciting news that I have secured a Senior Educational Psychologist post, can’t wait to begin my role entering the strategic and leadership space!! Cookie courtesy of my lovely cheerleader, friend and colleague @RachelS_EP 🍪 #twittereps
@MillyGandy@AEPsychologists Within our profession both private and LA EPs should only be taking direction from our BPS and HCPC professional and ethical guidelines, I know I do and to suggest EPs are doing otherwise is quite misleading but I understand the point you are making #twittereps
I have made the difficult decision to strike today. I qualified in ‘22 and already feel immense frustration at the broken system I am positioned within. We need change for our schools, CYP, and workforce because this isn’t sufficient or sustainable.

Day of difficult emotions as I strike with my @AEPsychologists colleagues for a better future. Also supreme court will decide on Rwanda policy. As well as MPs voting for a Gaza ceasefire. None of which I have much faith in. Pray for a better future for all children #twitterEPs
Solidarity to all my EP colleagues striking today. The situation in LA EP services is bad. Unreasonable workload, lack of variety, no creativity, ultimately not being able to do the job I trained for is why I left my LA EPS in 2021
Change is needed

#SaveOurServices#twittereps@AEPsychologists It's not just about our pay. What proportion of this £300million is the cost to councils of outsourcing SEND assessments because they can't attract & retain their own in-house EPs?https://t.co/VtbDpq4gOk
📢Educational psychologists in England and Wales will strike tomorrow
We spoke to @CathLowther, General Secretary of @AEPsychologists, and other EPs participating, to explore the issue further.

I always feel guilt at the prospect of striking. I work in a caring role, so I know that there will be a short term impact.
And yet, I still believe this strike is important. There are systemic changes which are required, which I can't implement personally or individually...
