It’s both with a heavy heart and a big smile that I announce this Friday is my final day as Social Media Manager at @shefiorg.
I am sad that this is the end of my journey at such an incredible company.
But I am happy that:
✨ I made the leap back into the startup space at a time that felt right for me.
✨ I spent a year learning an entirely new technology, to the point that I can explain crypto L2s and airdrops with ease.
✨ I was able to create whimsical, empowering, engaging content for tens of thousands of women (and allies) all over the globe.
✨ I earned us nearly 10M organic impressions across channels, posting unique content 5 days a week on Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
✨ I met (albeit mostly virtually) amazing people: @ElaPassarelli ,@wordsgirljul, @msjoedor, @winternet, @dee_centralized, @MedusaOnchain and of course SheFi founder @maggielove_ , just to name a few.
I never thought I would dip my toes into the waters of blockchain.
But over the last year, I learned how to swim.
Not just doggy paddling.
I freestyled, backstroked, and butterflied my way through crypto slang, massive company announcements, new and old partnerships, Twitter livestreams, countless recruitment emails, weekly newsletters, and more.
And through it all, there’s one thing I know for sure:
I can ride the waves. 🌊
While I’m unsure of what’s to come, I am excited for the journey ahead.
Send me a DM if you’re looking for any part-time content creation! 🤗
In 2010, Satoshi Nakamoto emailed @jonmatonis, urging him to start mining Bitcoin. 15 years later, Jon chairs the board at SOL Strategies.
In our new episode, he joins CEO @michael_hubbard to trace that email to co-founding the Bitcoin Foundation, and where he sees Solana headed next.
SOL Strategies Board Director @jonmatonis would rather see an imperfect Clarity Act pass than wait for a perfect one.
Because crypto regulation isn't a partisan issue, it's a business issue.
We don't want FTX to happen again.
The beauty of blockchain is open finance: consumers make their own choices.
Now that brokerage giants like @RobinhoodApp are diving deeper into crypto, this foundational value of crypto can expand even further.

This weekend, in lieu of a happy hour or craft fair, my friends and I decided on a different activity:
Taking LinkedIn headshots.
It had been years since we’d updated each of ours, and with a dear friend back from Japan with a brand new professional camera in tow, we wanted to take advantage. So we donned our business casual and rode Chicago transit down to the heart of the city.
My favorite part about our journey, besides the laughter shared as we took turns wearing our friend’s beige blazer, was seeing a group of middle school girls taking photos by the river right next to us. It warmed my heart to know that, even into your late 20s, you’ll still be getting together with your pals, giggling, fixing each other’s hair, shouting out poses…
Maybe it’ll be for a professional networking site instead of Instagram, but the spirit of girlhood will be present all the same.
I hope that the younger generation knows that, while aging is scary, it’s also one of the most beautiful privileges in this life.
Plus, we lowkey slayed our pics.
@ElaPassarelli ela you were the best coworker EVER!! SheFi was so lucky to have you. your drive and dedication will always AMAZE ME!! best of luck on this next chapter!!!
Hot takes from our new idea leak on crypto + Linkedin:
> Cross-posting your tweets to LI is hurting your page
> Executive accounts beat brand accounts, every time
> Carousels get 3x the reach of video right now
it's easy to feel bogged down by the frauds, hacks, and scams we see on the daily. but remember: you're here for a reason.
invest in the people and projects you trust. 🤍 @scrib3_co
This has always been true. The frothy bull market just let people float by.
The marketers who win in crypto aren't the ones who just understand the tech best (that's par for the course)
It's nice to see a few crypto companies in the space start to invest more in brand building and in doing what successful companies have been doing for decades
