@Empalla66@YanksBar WAR inherently devalues outfielders and boosts the value of Catchers. I’m assuming that’s why you’re saying Judge is a liability out there, which is just plain false lmao. He’s still a very good right fielder. I respect your opinion, but clearly most think there is a conversation
@Empalla66@YanksBar Judge has played 6 less games than Cal. You are struggling very hard with stats, if you can’t understand that judge is simply a better offensive player idk what to tell you lmao
@Empalla66@YanksBar Judge has 21 more bases. And he has 32 more hits, all with 20 fewer plate appearances. Of course you could also just reference his OPS, OBP, and SLG to figure this out way easier, so idk why we are looking at the exact numbers when the averages exist for this exact reason.
@gbuckley19@StoreyClayton @IoannidisGOAT @MLBNetwork Boiling down Judge’s 2022 to just the homers is a bit much too. When Judge hit 62, he did it while leading the league in OPS, RBIs, Runs, OBP, SLG, and top 5 AVG. The homers were great, but were only the icing on the cake in 22. Cal has 60 homers and still has a lower SLG. Crazy.
@YainerEnjoyer @svd2311@YankeeWRLD@Jram2TBJ I didn’t say he participated. But him benefitting is directly related to him winning MVP. Plain and simple.
@YainerEnjoyer @svd2311@YankeeWRLD@Jram2TBJ I say this as someone who agrees Altuve is a phenomenal player. One of the best. Doesn’t mean he didn’t benefit from his teammates cheating, unfortunate as that is.
@YainerEnjoyer @svd2311@YankeeWRLD@Jram2TBJ Irrelevant. If the rest of the team is cheating it still helps Altuve. Gives him more opportunities with runners on, makes pitchers pitch count hire, makes it harder to pitch around him, mentally gets in a pitchers head. If you can’t see how this would favor Altuve then idk man.
Judge is slugging 83 points higher than Cal. And this is when teams don’t even pitch to Judge. The White Sox, who have 100 losses, still intentionally walked him in a totally meaningless game for them. The Rockies pitched to Cal down 8-1. The league tells you what it thinks.
@ChrisRGun For what it’s worth, last night playing the beta was the most fun I’ve had playing a shooter in years. But I will say to your point, after a few hours I did feel like my eyes were straining a bit, because the screen is so densely populated with details. Loved it though.
@DuffySports_@TheC21317 Brother he’s not saying Volpe should literally hit 50 home runs. He’s saying he’d get a pass if he was good at the plate. A Rod had a .900 OPS in 2006. Volpe is barely above .700.
