😱 Who are you kidding, Gavin? A graduated Federal or State #Tax is criminal. “Taxing the #Rich more than the #Poor is a recipe for disaster!

If you tax those who earn, more than those who do not, then you have disincentivized both. Everyone should be taxed the same flat rate, otherwise there is no incentive for either to work harder.

Just because I worked harder, smarter, faster AND then saved, invested what I earned, does not entitle someone who is my mirror, who foolishly spent, wasted every cent they made, worked slowly, made poor choices and was lazy…

If they are destitute, that is their problem. Not my responsibility, to shoulder their burdens and my own!

Before anyone says I am horrible, keep in mind… If there is a pure flat tax, those who earn, save, invest… will STILL pay far more taxes than their mirror.

At least it is fair (on a percentage-basis), to a point. Because, once those who earn too much, realize they are paying too much in taxes, they will stop working so hard, as there will be no incentive to pay far more taxes (quantum) than others.

Remember how many Search Engines there were in the year 2000 vs those you can name, today?
Personally, I believe the American people, not American Corporations, alone, should have a say in the critical decisions being made about #AI.
However, I think it’s a bad idea for the US Government to control Businesses. Unlike the Trump-Intel deal, which will be / is already profitable, I’m not certain most of the branded AI companies (we talk about today) will still be around in a few years (maybe none of us will, if this all goes wrong).
That said, there should be some guardrails. It’s not a smart idea to permit any individual or corporation to build their own private #RoboticArmy or fleet of #Drones, Rockets, #Tanks or super #ArtificialIntelligence that can supplant human control over themselves or the government we elected. Just saying!

The flash density product really shows this anomalous "flash" which is pretty distinctive of a bolide/meteor reentry. east of Boston. This is the likely source of the loud boom/explosion.
