In the case seeking a temporary restraining order to stop Sunday's UFC cage-fighting on the South Lawn and to keep the UFC from using the Lincoln Memorial chamber (the part with the statue) on Friday for face-offs, Judge Mehta will decide on the briefs, without hearing argument.

Update: In March, MN sued DOJ to get info about the Renee Good, Alex Pretti, & Julio Sosa-Celis shootings. Case paused awaiting DOJ's 6/4 responses to MN's administrative letters seeking that info. Hennepin Co (MN) says DOJ responses were still "obstructi[ve]." Will file amended complaint 6/18.

A 3d Circuit judge granted an administrative stay stopping Judge Quraishi from holding an evidentiary hearing today, 6/8, on controversial detention conditions at ICE’s Delaney Hall in Newark. ICE transferred petitioner out of Delaney to moot case, but Quraishi tried to hold hearing anyway. ...
