Yesterday, the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) handed over 70 Hilux tyres to the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) to support the maintenance of its operational fleet.

The tyres were presented to the RRS by the Fund’s Director of Administration, Adegbola Lewis.

The team subsequently assisted the driver in pushing the vehicle to a safe spot before continuing with their patrol.

Around 2:35 p.m. today, our patrol team, while on routine patrol along the LASU–Iyana Iba Road, came across a commercial mini-bus "Korope" carrying four passengers that had caught fire near Idowu Egba Bus Stop, Igando.

As the passengers scrambled to exit the vehicle and the driver searched for a way to put out the flames, our operatives quickly deployed their fire extinguisher and successfully contained the fire before it could spread further.

This morning, our team on routine patrol of Ikeja Along came across an elderly woman whose vehicle had broken down.

Distressed and visibly in a hurry to keep an appointment, she was assisted by the patrol team, who helped fix the vehicle before she continued her journey.
