Every podcast episode you don't promote is a disservice to someone who needs to hear it. Your silence keeps solutions from the people who are searching.
Share your podcast like you're recommending your favorite restaurant. Enthusiastically. With specific reasons why they'll love it. No apologies needed.
Are you using everything your @RSS account has to offer? Probably notβ¦but, that's okay. Join us June 18th for a free webinar where we'll show you what you've been missing. Register here: https://t.co/zQgN5brObe

If you won't promote your podcast, why should anyone else? π€·ββοΈ
You have to believe in it first. Your enthusiasm is contagious or your silence is final.
Your belief in your work gives others permission to believe in it too. π₯
Promotion is a service to the people who need your message. π
Someone out there is searching for EXACTLY what you made today. Your job is to make sure they find it.
Reframe promotion:
β "I'm bothering people"
β "I'm connecting my message with people who need it"
Create content for your dream listener, not the algorithm. π― Algorithms change daily. Your ideal listener's problems stay the same.
Describe your dream listener in detail: their struggles, goals, fears, desires. Then make every episode FOR THEM. The algorithm will catch up.β¨
One dedicated listener who shares beats 100 who ghost-listen. π»β‘οΈπͺ
Quality over quantity is key.
Focus on creating raving fans, not accumulating passive listeners. Nurture relationships. Reply to messages. Make people feel seen. π
That's how small podcasts grow big.
Your podcast trailer is your movie poster. Make it irresistible. π¬
You have 60 seconds to make someone choose YOU over 5 million other shows.
Tell the who, what, when, where, why and how of your show in less than a minute. This can fuel real growth.
Stop counting downloads. Start counting conversations. π¬
Real growth is measured in DMs, emails, and people who can't stop telling their friends.
βοΈ Vanity metrics: Downloads, followers, subscribers
β Real metrics: Replies, referrals, revenue
The best growth hack is making something people actually want to share. π
No trick or tactic beats creating something genuinely worth talking about.
Start creating share-worthy content.
Ask yourself: "Would I text this episode to my best friend?" If not, make it better.
