🏈 2 GAMES LEFT. ONE THING IS CERTAIN… THE GROWTH IS REAL! 💪🔥

This football season hasn’t gone exactly how we hoped as a team, but even in a challenging season, there are victories worth celebrating!

One of the BIGGEST positives has been watching Ricky’s growth, determination, and improvement as a kicker and punter for the South Brunswick Cougars! 🐾🏈

📊 The numbers are starting to speak for themselves!

🏆 #65 IN THE NATION – Punt Average
🥇 #1 in Southeastern 3A/4A/5A
🏅 #6 in North Carolina
⭐ #5 in the NCHSAA

And he’s only a SOPHOMORE!

What makes us most proud isn’t just the rankings. It’s the hard work, dedication, willingness to learn, and determination to keep getting better.

With two games remaining, the focus is on finishing strong. But we’re even more excited about what comes NEXT!

The offseason will bring more training, coaching, development, and opportunities to take his kicking game to another level.

The goal isn’t to be the best he can be TODAY. It’s to keep working toward the player he can become TOMORROW.

Keep grinding, Ricky! Your journey is just getting started, and we can’t wait to see where it takes you!

💙🐾 GO COUGARS! 🐾💙

Got the W last night! 🐾🏈 First win of the season for South Brunswick Cougars JV!

✅ Converted my PAT
✅ Turned a broken/squib kick into an onside kick that we recovered
✅ Strong kickoffs with consistent distance and placement

Proud of the way I stayed composed, adjusted, and executed when it mattered. Every game is another opportunity to improve, compete, and help my team win.

1-0. Keep working. Keep improving. 🎯🏈

Another week another great opportunity to kick and get reps in.

Last day of summer break before my 10th-grade year officially begins. 🏈

Dad and I spent some time today putting in work—focusing on distance, consistency, and technique. Every rep is another opportunity to improve and get closer to where I want to be.

Excited to start my sophomore season, keep developing as a K/P, and see what this year brings.

Keep working. Keep improving. Earn everything.

First game is officially in the books! 🏈🔥

Got two punt opportunities tonight. On the first one, I had to improvise, scramble, and take off running. On the second, I punted from the back of the end zone and dropped it around the 45-yard line! 💪

Also had two kickoffs, averaging around 40–45 yards.

It was hot, slick, and HUMID out there, but Game 1 is DONE. Plenty to learn from, plenty to improve on, and we’re just getting started.

Only way from here is UP! 📈🏈💪

Happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸

Grateful to spend part of the holiday getting quality work in with my brother on the snaps. Consistency, timing, and trust are built one rep at a time.

Always working to improve.

Had to work hard and fast on this wildfire. We stopped it within 10’ of a house!

I became a volunteer firefighter. I do this because my dad does it and I get the honor to help my community on their worse day. If I can make a bad day better, then I have done my job.
