Happy hump day friends! Well I’m full-scale back into my core business and the intense workload, and yet my mind often strays back to the sweet bliss of my recent beach days in Portugal…

I’m curious which beach(es) are your favorite in the world? Why? And what appeals about the beach to you? The sun and tanning? Surfing or swimming? Observing the other beach-goers? Relaxing or reading next to the sounds of the waves crashing?

Which of my photos below appeals to you the most? Why?

To be honest, in my life I’ve always preferred nature-time spent in the forest, or on a lake, or the mountains to that time I’ve spent on beaches. Maybe it’s the sand getting everywhere or the often extreme direct sun, not sure.

But after this recent trip, I can honestly now say that many of my absolute favorite memories have occurred on beaches and that the time I spend on beaches in the future looks like it will rank amongst my favorite for many reasons. Probably, like so many things, it has to do with the company you keep and the ways in which different environments interact with the group’s vibration.

Trust comes in waves
deep inside her knots
tighten as the beating
of hearts race to the
drum of my fingers
pressing through.

Formed of clay mounds
made to sweat as the
pillar of light rises up
serpent slipping thru
her cave climbing walls
shaking in bliss crowning
to moans’ sultry escape.
•
A breath takes us back
pulsing inside the chalice
eyes open the window to
the naked souls of lovers
clenching one another
bodies dripping as the tides
shift to the trembling of her
wrists held fast to the frame.
