This weekend @KenSkatesMS visited Caernarfon Castle to see a new display on the liberation of the Dutch city of ‘s-hertogenbosch by the 53rd (Welsh) Division in 1944.
It also shows the continuing relationship between the city, the 53rd and their families, after the War.
We're saddened to learn of the passing of John 'Paddy' Hemingway DFC, the last surviving fighter pilot of the #BattleOfBritain.
His legacy serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by the WW2 generation.
Our thoughts today are with his loved ones 💙
