The news about Anne has truly shaken us. John and I are heartbroken. I can’t quite believe it — such a strong, vibrant, fearless woman, so full of life and love, could be gone so soon.

Anne was a rockstar! I came to know her well through multiple seasons of Worst Cooks on Food Network, and she became so much more than a colleague.

Anne honored me by asking me to be her bridesmaid, something I’d only done once before for my sister. Despite being surrounded by incredible chefs, she never once made me feel self-conscious about not being one — she always treated me as one of the gang. When we hosted Worst Cooks together, we had the most incredible laughs. She even cooked for me and my guests at my wedding anniversary in Italy.

I’ll never forget walking into our dressing rooms at Food Network studios early in the morning and hearing her blasting the song of the moment down the hall. Anne had great taste in music and in life — she was a force in the kitchen, in any room, in every life she touched.

I’ll miss her friendship deeply. Everyone whose life she touched will miss her. Sending love to Stuart and everyone who knew and loved Anne. We’ve lost someone truly special.

Hello! Farmer Lee Jones here from The Chef’s Garden along the shores of Lake Erie in Huron, Ohio. 
What started as my family’s small roadside stand has grown into a thriving farm that cultivates flavorful, 
regenerative vegetables for chefs and home cooks!

People often ask me: “What’s your favorite vegetable?” – and my answer is always the same: whatever is in season! 
I’m excited to share with you why I love eating seasonal vegetables and what my favorites are right now on the farm!

Eat with the seasons! 
Seasonal eating is nature’s way of serving up optimal nutrition, straight from the Earth to your dinner table. 

Let’s dig in and discover what’s in season now:

Asparagus:
Enjoy Asparagus in all its glory – from classic greens to delicate pinks and whites, and even rich purples! 
When Asparagus is in season, we should eat it three times a day! And, when the season is over, we should lust for it for ten months!

Rhubarb:
These brilliantly red, thick Rhubarb stalks are hefty and firm, yet tender enough to sink your teeth into. 
Raw or cooked, in season Rhubarb is juicy, sweet, tart and completely irresistible! 

Squash Blossoms:
Squash Blossoms bring a pop of vibrant orange to your plate and lend a savory-sweet vegetal flavor. 
Chefs line up for the first-of-the-season blossoms and for a good reason – they’re delicious! 

Summer Squash:
Summer Squash radiates deep greens and golden yellows, with crisp skin and juicy flesh that captures the best of the season! 
Their naturally sweet and nutty flavor turns a routine bite into a tasty delight!

English Peas:
English Peas are like nature’s candy! One of the best ways to enjoy them is straight from the pod for its peak crisp,

✨ Wanna make it? Here's how:
1️⃣ Sauté 4 thinly sliced ramp bulbs + 2 loose handfuls chopped ramp greens in olive oil over medium heat until soft + fragrant (3–4 min). Cool completely.
2️⃣ In a bowl, mix:
• 1 lb cream cheese (chunked)
• Finely chopped raw ramp bulbs + tops
• Juice of ½ lemon 🍋
• 1–2 tbsp fresh chopped dill
• Salt + pepper to taste
3️⃣ Fold in your cooled sautéed ramps.
4️⃣ Top with dried chamomile buds + chive blossoms 🌼

As someone who believes deeply in the power of food to nourish bodies and build stronger communities, I’m thrilled to celebrate this historic step for New York families. 🍎❤️ Starting in the 2025-2026 school year, every public school student in New York will have access to free, nutritious school meals - no questions asked. That’s 2.7 million kids who can now focus on learning, not hunger.
