The first notable Cairo exploit of 2026 has already landed, hitting @mySwapxyz

Expect attackers to keep looking for similar weaknesses.

If your Starknet codebase hasn't been audited in months, treat this as a wake-up call.

[mySwap - Starknet AMM @mySwapxyz]

Security update: at 7:15am UTC today, the mySwap CL protocol was exploited, resulting in ~$300K being drained from liquidity pools.

The mySwap interface has been closed to new liquidity for the past 6+ months, and the remaining balances were mostly residual LP positions spread across over 100K positions.

The attacker has bridged the stolen funds and used Railgun to obfuscate the flow of assets. The exploit has drained nearly all remaining liquidity from the protocol.

A simple audit habit:

Before looking for “vulnerabilities,” map the protocol’s trust boundaries.

Ask:
Who can move funds?
Who can change parameters?
Who can pause/unpause?
Who controls external integrations?
What happens if an assumption breaks?
Most serious bugs become easier to see once you understand power flow.
