So, the country with the most colonialist, slave-trading, woman-oppressing, worker-suppressing, foreigner-hating history ever to exist on this planet has decided to impose sanctions on Jews who dare to fight for their right to live peacefully in their own land. Makes perfect sense, really. Perhaps if they had assembled a fleet and fought over a tiny archipelago 8,000 miles from their homeland, the British might have found it easier to relate. Or at least if they had tried erasing the national identity of the Scots, Welsh, Irish, and so on. But the Jews? They just want to live in peace in their homeland. How terribly unimperial of them.
