On Wednesday evening at 8pm UK time I’ll be listing a collection of one off necklaces I’ve made using Victorian & Edwardian chatelaine stamp holders, an acorn thimble holder, lockets (incl 1940s scallop & clock lockets) & oak leaves I’ve cast in silver. My shop is here: https://t.co/iRLlvlVA0X
@AllotmentCat I agree with Betty about the good side of social media. There may be a lot of nastiness but there are lovely online communities too, aren't there, including your online friends. Long may it continue. ❤️
@SketchesbyBoze That's quite a shocking statistic - 13% - isn't it. I can hardly imagine not wanting to read out of curiosity, or enjoyment of new worlds and lerning something... It's a state simultaneously scary and depressing.
However much we all knew this moment was coming and were expecting it, it’s still a big shock when it actually happens isn’t it. What struck me as I read this article was how happy and contented Mr Atlas looked in all the photos. As you said, Atlas had found his life’s purpose, his special place in the world, just as you have, founding Happy Doggo. Fare Well, Mr Atlas. ❤️
@SketchesbyBoze Don't know if that guy genuinely believed what he wrote or if he was being purposely provocative and rage-baiting, as one of his responders wondered on the original post. Either way, he came across like an entitled, bad mannered arse.
@AllotmentCat Ah, that's very sad news, Amanda. It's always hard to lose a furry family member, isn't it. Poor Uncle Andy and Auntie Sammy, and poor Jasper. He had a wonderful life though, didn't he, with his human family. 🧡🌈
@NiallHarbison She's such a little sweetie isn't she. And already looking so much better. You're no longer alone, Skye, and your life is going to be so good from now on!
@AllotmentCat It’s taking Maurine a long time to trust isn’t it, but I’m sure he knows Betty and the other humans are good people, and that the allotment life is a good one. Everyone grows at a different rate. I’m sure he’ll become braver in time. Look how well you’re doing, Amanda!
@jezthomasart Wow, that‘s wonderful. You’ve picked the perfect piece of wood for this work, haven’t you. It looks like ripples moving outward from His foot, kind of like those from a pebble skimmed across the water!
Giving a rescue cat who's missed out on love and friendship in their life is a truly wonderful thing to do, Miss Amanda. Uncle Andy and Aunty Sammy's cat must be very happy and contented. You and little Janet, and Maurine are very lucky you have so many human friends to love you and look after you.
@booksandwine76@embrace@BanquetRecords They’re very special aren’t they. I’ve loved them for a long time. And they’re probably the best live band I’ve seen… their fan base is devoted for a reason. ♥️
@HWarlow It looks like there's an unseen person inside the house in the centre there, holding back the curtain so they can see outside... I love looking for signs in LM's paintings!
