President Droupadi Murmu presented Padma Vibhushan to Senior RSS Swayamsevak, Veteran Journalist, Former Editor of Janmabhumi, Former Pracharak for 2 decades, Former State Organising Secretary of Jansangh Shri P. Narayanan ji for his exceptional contribution to the field of Literature and Education in Kerala.

Shri Narayanan, popularly known as Narayanji, has dedicated his life to nationalistic journalism and socio-political organization in Kerala. He led the daily Janmabhumi since its inception in 1975. His weekly column “Sanghapadhathiloode” became a historical record, chronicling the lives of unsung volunteers who suffered state excesses during the Emergency.
