After returning from Closed Session Tuesday, September 15, Mayor Janet Cowell announced City Council directed the City Attorney to draft a temporary 6-month moratorium ordinance on data centers for Council's consideration.

They have asked the City Attorney to take the necessary steps so Council can adopt the moratorium at next month's October 6 meeting, if desired. This means a public hearing will be held during that meeting at 7 p.m.
