We’re talking about #creativity at work and the #work of creativity
Putin's goal is easy to understand -- he wants to subjugate Ukraine because he thinks that's how it has to be.
Harder to understand: why so many in the West refuse to understand what Putin wants.
It's been a year since Russians killed Victoria Amelina. A Ukrainian writer, poet, my friend and role model. The book she was writing, a collection of testimonies about Russian war crimes in Ukraine, will be published early next year. Please read it, remember Vika, demand justice
In #France, 34% voters are estimated to have voted for the far-right National Rally. Yet, nobody accuses France of being a "Nazi country".
In #Ukraine, 2.1% voted for the far-right Svoboda party in 2019. Yet, all the talk about "Nazis in Ukraine".

"Quite a few Americans like the idea of strongman rule. Why not a dictator who will get things done?... Strongman rule is a fantasy. Essential to it is the idea that a strongman will be your strongman. He won't."

Very apt comparison. Ukraine's heroism has extended 1938 into 2.5 years now, buying the West critical time to act. But I'd add that the 1939 invasion of Poland started WW2 because the Russians joined Hitler to conquer Europe. China will join Russia if we allow Ukraine to fall.
You don't "join" the Soviet Union. They invade you, send trains full of your people to prison camps, hold a fake referendum and pretend to save you from nazis by killing you. Sounds familiar? Moscow has been using the same script since the night of June 14th 1941. 🇱🇹🕯
Zelenskyy arrives at German Bundestag.
Full house — almost: Members of the far-right AfD and the far-left BSW parties are absent.
I let you draw your own conclusions…
“A divided Europe has never been peaceful.
And a divided Germany has never been happy.
You know all this not from me, you know it from your own experience.
Therefore, you can understand us – Ukrainians.
You can understand why we are fighting so hard against Russia's attempts to divide us, divide Ukraine, why we are doing everything – absolutely everything – to prevent a wall between the parts of our country.” @ZelenskyyUa in Bundestag yesterday.

Donald Trump’s legal team will appeal against the guilty verdict. That will, if allowed, take some months. The maximum sentence is 4 years, but because of his age and background he’s unlikely to see the inside of a jail. But the fact of being found guilty will hurt his support.
If you don’t think there’s a reason to worry because democratic institutions are robust and will withstand the onslaught of fascism, you’re not really paying attention:
