Indian cricket slang is fun
Here's a list of some words from chat with @ojasds
Well Left karna (don't leave the ball, do well left)
Humpire or empire
White ball (not wide)
Elbee or LP (not LBW)
L Guard
Well played (don't defend, do well played)
50 Up (scored 50)

What else?

[Ram Deshpande @ram_desh]

@SukanyaVerma @AhwaanPadhee What a cool list! Two additions

The college canteen: Hero comes to college with just one notebook and meets his group hanging out in the canteen. there is a song there.

Since villain's lair is already gone, the climax song in the lair is also gone

There's got to be more.

@HimashuYadav07 A legend in this scene is Sulabha Deshpande. She was so effortless.
Theatre legend!

@akm1410 @MorningContext @goyalhiral Good article. Needs to be followed up in few months. FirstClub is a good co. Excellent service. Well designed app. Premium feels. Merch turns out as promised in a nice bag. Maybe making money too.
Folks might want them to fail just so they can say "had told you it won't work" :-)

[Ram Deshpande @ram_desh]

@elegantlywasted Are you binging on Larry David stuff?? :-)

[Ram Deshpande @ram_desh]

@rahultaneja I want my, I want my MTV!!

[Ram Deshpande @ram_desh]

@joybhattacharj Congrats Mr. Das! If he is a fighting champion, he should put his title on the line. I present a challenger, Mr. Chakravarti @AditPC108 originally from Kolkata and an old patron of Shiraz. He even knows exactly what time of the day is the best biryani served. He can easily do 5.

@BabajiKaThullaa @ZEE5India Couldn't find Jogwa on Zee5.

I was recommending some of the recent movies.

[Ram Deshpande @ram_desh]

If your @ZEE5India subscription will run out soon and you want to maximise the value of the sub, watch these #Marathi movies:
- Aatmapamphelet
- Frame
- Gulabjaam
- Tighee
- Jarann
- Katyar Kaljat Ghusali
- many more :-)

Can anyone recommend other good movies on Zee5?

Santosh's website: https://t.co/EzMqaz9Eiq

[Ram Deshpande @ram_desh]

I have an original Santosh Mahale creation: BirdsEye depiction of Nandi Hills
Santosh has a lovely perspective on places and brings out their uniqueness
This painting was discussed in detail in the 1st episode of my podcast "The Thing With This One Is" (on YouTube and Spotify)

[Ram Deshpande @ram_desh]

I am so in demand these days. The phone is ringing continuously. Coincidentally, my car insurance is up for renewal in two weeks. :-)

[Ram Deshpande @ram_desh]

@my_mokobara lovely design. Saw bag on 27th and ordered on 28th via Amazon. The promised DoD was 30th. I'm flying out on 31st. Amazon is confusing. Customer service page says May 30; track order page says May 31
If 31, I will cancel. Need to confirm @amazonIN please help.

महाराष्ट्र दिनाच्या हार्दिक शुभेच्छा!
जय भवानी जय शिवाजी!

#RajaShivaji

Thank you @Riteishd and your entire team.
Wish you all the best for #RajaShivChhatrapati

[Ram Deshpande @ram_desh]

Amazing effort!!
नुसतेच उत्तुंग नव्हे तर दैवतुल्य व्यक्तिमत्वाचे सादरीकरण म्हणजे शिवधनुष्य पेलणे जणु.
#RajaShivaji @Riteishd

[Ram Deshpande @ram_desh]
