"there are beggars and buskers operating on this train, please do not encourage their presence by supporting them".
Maybe if the government supported our most vulnerable, they would have less of a presence.
@BBCNews When we're looking at the quality of care, blame often falls on the manager and the staff in the home, rather than looking at how much people are being paid, how many hours they're taking on, and what is being provided in terms of staff support - which comes from the top.
@BBCNews A lot of care staff are overworked and underpaid. It's a sector that is very underappreciated, and either have lack of staff, or lack in quality staff. I've seen carers who have had to go from a 14hr shift, sleep for a few hrs, and come back and do another 7 because of staffing
The thing about my brain is that I simultaneously had the song "funky duck" by Vulfpeck playing in my head (with a "that's too funky for MY kids" imagined scenario in my head) + doing Barbenheimer, frog art sale, and a mystery third thing that I can't remember but need to do.
I learned how to say "I'm vegetarian, is this okay?" In Italian and forgot that any follow up sentences would expose me for the fraud I am. Also a fan of "allora" being used liberally.
My proudest moment? Watching all the kids at work lose their shit when they discovered the QR code on my earrings opened up the beginning of the first Shrek Movie, soundtracked by Smash Mouth's "All Star".
