@Andy_T_@terrychristian 6KGBP each extra funding needed for 3000kids going to state school is 18 million pounds. Half a million kids in private school, average 17KGBP fees, per year, VAT on that is 3400GBP each. Multiply that by 500,000 is 1.7 billion pounds. Nearly 100 times more.
@BylinesEast I’ve blocked you because you are retweeting incorrect info about methanes warming effect, specifically from cattle. If this was sarcasm or a joke let me know. I otherwise admire your work.
@tiff_tv Shell and BP seem to have bought up all the cheap lamppost chargers, and, strangely have hiked the prices. Make your competition more expensive, genius.
@CandSCmagazine Can we just accept that the best shape for a steering wheel is round? And steering wheels are the best device for steering cars with 4 wheels? Otherwise looks great!
The Erasmus+ Scheme is a fantastic opportunity for young people to study, teach and volunteer abroad. It’s disappointing the new Labour Govt have ruled out re-joining.
@munirawilson and I have written to the Foreign and Education Secretaries urging them to re-consider.
Call the Sports Direct Army what they are.
Do you love GB News, the 30p fuckwit and Farage? Well… If they’re“patriots” acting in Britain’s interests why’s Russia helping them?
Why are they lounging in mansions as you do a ten stretch for rioting? Don’t believe the bullshit.
@cmevuk@dan_grey I think your inverter is clipping the power, otherwise you would have a Gaussian curve. The panel power is exceeding what the inverter can deal with so you have a flat topped curve.
@delburgio@dan_grey I agree temperature effects the yield. I get a max of 21kWh in late April and 30kWh in mid June. On a very hot day in late August (similar irradiance intensity and duration to now) I would get a bit less than in April, by a couple of kWh’s.
@terrychristian @kevinwhorgan I think it was Shandy Bass which they also used to sell in 440ml cans like a beer. I used to get one on the way home from school.
@WhamBaamX Surely any half decent, awake driver would have avoided that? Good as a back up, but likely to cause the driver not to concentrate. Or am I misunderstanding?
@tompeck I’m ditching my wife’s 11 year old diesel SUV and getting a 15-20 year old petrol Mini, Pug 106 or similar. Same money, lower road tax, less fuel.
@LobAllan Yes, the theatre of the gear selector and vents opening. I borrow my bosses early 09 3 litre and scorched it down the hills to Newcastle in Northern Ireland. Lovely thing.
