As someone who used to be VERY PASSIONATE about motorcycle-riding, and who's done a lot of BLISSFUL SOLO RIDES.....including in some super desolate places, I can TOTALLY RELATE to the message in this ReadyAssist video 🙂

Through my rides, while I mostly just had AMAZING (and SAFE, touch wood!) experiences, I can think of at least 3-4 HAIRY situations that I have found myself in, "including, but not limited to":

-> running out of fuel at 1 am in a remote road in #Goa with not a soul in sight and no fuel station for 15 kms (this was in 1998 or so, Goa wasn't as developed then, and was far more beautiful!),

-> parking my motorcycle somewhere in the Mudumalai to Bandipur jungle road to take a few photos....and finding to my (mild) horror that my trusted steed just wouldn't start!!! I had to worriedly wait in slowly receding daylight for almost 45 minutes before a random trucker helped carry me and my motorcycle to the nearest town to fix my bike...those were the days when there would be ZERO mobile network in jungle areas in India, so no "phone a friend option" then 🙂

-> riding in the beautiful, gently rolling hills of #Coorg and suddenly, in the middle of nowhere, my motorcycle decades to have a FLAT TYRE! I was tired and starving after hours of riding....so, I just walked up to the nearest house i could find and shamelessly asked them for FOOD! I have always found the Kodavas to be very warm and big-hearted especially in matters of food and drinks 🙂

In all those amazing riding days, you just assumed that you have to be patient and needed a lot of luck. The GREAT PART of today's TECH-TURBOCHARGED INDIA is that even in a landslide-prone and remote area like Leh, you can get #ReadyAssist type support quickly without breaking too much of a sweat.

But of course, all this technology-driven development has also resulted in major challenges like overcrowding and ecological disruption of such beautiful places all over India....
