If you haven’t yet heard my discussion this morning with @heidiklessigmd on how the medical industry arbitrarily changed the definition of death for utilitarian purposes—and how it’s affecting a 2-year-old currently at TX children’s hospital—listen to the full interview here, second segment:

Thank you, @realJennaEllis, for an excellent discussion of the ongoing battle for the life of little Annelise Camp!
After being revived from near-drowning, Annelise is being held at Texas Children’s Hospital instead of being transferred to a facility that can offer her advanced treatment.
Texas Children’s wants to declare her brain dead.
Brain death is not death, but a utilitarian social construct designed to free up ICU beds and facilitate organ donation.
People declared brain dead are not biologically dead: their hearts beat, they absorb oxygen, they metabolize food and excrete waste, heal their wounds and fight infections.
There is NO evidence that the spirits of people declared brain dead have departed.
And people declared brain dead under the American Academy of Neurology’s brain death guideline are not even legally dead, because the Guideline explicitly allows people with ongoing brain function to be declared dead.
This is in defiance of the legal definition of death under the Uniform Determination of Death Act which requires the irreversible cessation of ALL functions of the entire brain including the brain stem.
Annelise Camp is a little girl with a brain injury who deserves a chance to heal.
If Annelise is robbed of this chance and is declared brain dead, she will not be biologically dead, her soul will not have yet departed, and she will still be legally alive.
Brain death is not death but an ethical choice, a way of removing human rights from vulnerable, neurologically disabled people.
@RBM7211 I knew he used a surrogate to buy babies, but not that he made the decision he would abort the child if it had a disability. That’s another level of evil.
Dave Rubin writes that he and his husband would abort a child carried via surrogate if they discovered he or she was DISABLED.
This is eugenics.
If a disabled child were already born, it would be unconscionable to k*ll him or her for any reason.
It is no different for the preborn child.
Children are NOT products.
They are not meant to be discarded because they might be sick.
@ZachWLambert@alanbradley1982 It’s not possible to live in unrepentant sin and follow Christ. So yes, it is a soteriological issue, and if you are leading people astray telling them it’s okay to be gay, God will also hold you accountable for that.
Byron Donalds and Jay Collins asked taxpayers to fund their campaigns.
As Speaker, Paul Renner led a bill passage that would have eliminated taxpayer funding, but it didn’t get over the 60% threshold with voters.
He refused to take money from the people of Florida he actually wants to serve.
That’s the kind of personal integrity we want in a governor. That’s leadership.
Collins only raised money by apparently defrauding a senior donor.
And Jay’s senior advisor is out here bragging about it.
I knew Jay was incompetent, but I didn’t realize he was that dirty and dishonest.
More people need to respond to this like you did, @calebparke, because you’re right — he made this about the policy issue, not just his own decision (which still would have warranted public outrage and condemnation).
1/ I probably shouldn’t have done this, but I got into an argument with the YouTuber who aborted his child after a possible Down syndrome diagnosis.
Jesse Ridgway, who goes by McJuggerNuggets, made another video defending the abortion.
He said roughly a million abortions happen a year and that men need to talk about it more.
Then he framed it as something bigger than his own decision:
“I’m doing this, not just for myself, and my wife, and my family, but for all the families. All the prospective parents. The women. The single mothers. The fathers who are confused confronting this situation.”
That is exactly why this matters.
Gay man does not receive the overwhelming celebration he was expecting when he brought his newborn surrogate baby back from Mexico.
What's your take?
- Have people gotten more educated about gay parenting and surrogacy?
- Has the vibe shift allowed more people to say how they've always felt?
- Or has it always been this way and these guys were in such a bubble they didn't realize that not everybody would agree?
NEW FLORIDA POLL:
Paul Renner is in 2nd place statewide, winning NE Florida and performing strongly across the Panhandle.
And despite all the hype, Jay Collins isn't even winning in the Tampa Bay market he calls home. Collins, Renner, and Donalds are clustered together there, with Donalds holding the advantage.
Nearly 50% of Republican voters remain undecided. Donalds leads, but tops out at just 29% on the initial ballot. Fishback remains virtually unknown and is polling below the margin of error.
Most importantly, 62% of Republicans say a Ron DeSantis endorsement would make them more likely to support a candidate—almost identical to the impact of a Trump endorsement.
The race for Governor remains wide open.
@McJuggerNuggets Murder by definition is the unjustified killing of *human* life.
We are not animals. You cannot murder an animal.
YOU murdered a human.
Imagine having this intellectually dishonest of a worldview.
“I can’t die because I don’t believe in it.” So now you’re immortal?
Reality doesn’t work that way. Hell is a real place, whether or not you believe it.
Jesse Ridgway calls out Christians for criticizing him after he aborted his baby for having Down Syndrome.
He says he can't go to Hell because he doesn't believe in it.
"People saying, 'Go to Hell.' It doesn't matter because I can't go there. I don't believe in it."
The Democratic Party now is some weird combination of Communists, Nazis, globalists, and nonprofit grifters, and their base is mostly hobos, terrorists, and mentally ill women with a tenuous grasp on reality and anxiety disorders of high rank.
UPDATE ON OUR GRANDDAUGHTER ANNELISE!
I want to thank you all for your many prayers and concerns of love that have gone up for Annelise. The updates come slow in terms of strict medical data. But the number one question I receive daily, is how can we pray?
Here’s how I pray for our granddaughter every day and her parents Johnston and Joy! They have two other wonderful children that I would ask for you to lift up before the Lord as well.
Here are three ways that you can pray in this situation::
1. God, only You could bring her back from the condition she is in. If it be Your will… please fully restore her physical health to your glory alone!
2. God, please permit other doctors or medical procedures that could help her be made available and to remove the roadblocks prohibiting that from occurring. If it be Your will to provide proven, effective procedures that could restore her physical health!
And, 3. God, if You sovereignly choose not to heal her body or make available other medical resources, doctors and hospitals … then give Johnston as the head of his family the grace-filled strength and faithful love to give Annelise into Your hands and say as a family their heartfelt goodbye to their precious daughter knowing she would be with You!
With much tearful love and deep encouragement for you all!
