I hear so called crypto folks ask, “When are you selling your coin for fiat?”
Maybe I’m the sucker, but I thought the whole point was to replace centralized, government-issued money, not sell back into it.
@XMRScott@vikrantnyc@cakepay Couldn’t agree more. To be successful XMR needs adoption. And adoption requires a killer application that allows literally anyone to actually use the underlying tech.
@vikrantnyc@cakewallet Vik, I really love Cakewallet’s new design. Also like the switch button between BTC and Sats. The only issue I noticed is that my BTC wallet is sometimes classified as single seed and sometimes as shared seed wallet.
@giacomozucco That’s what I said: it depends on how you use it. Problem is that most people don’t. Therefore privacy by default (which will also be substantially improved in future updates) is better for most users.
@AMoneroHodler The only thing that matters is trust. Privacy by default builds trust. Knowing it can’t be confiscated creates trust. Limited dilution supports trust. In XMR we trust.
