The main problem with our society is thinking disagreement is the same as criticism, criticism is the same as violence, and violence is the same as disagreement.
@esrtweet@IMAO_ They will literally be kinder to you in your actual polytheism than they will to us and our supposed polytheism.
This has nothing to do with the trinity or monotheism. It is a deep seated bigotry based on lies.
🌟 Restored to Glory: The Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool Shines Once More! 🌟
What a breathtaking sight!
The iconic Reflecting Pool has been beautifully restored, freshly cleaned, sealed, and coated in that striking "American Flag Blue" that makes these nighttime reflections of the Washington Monument absolutely mesmerizing. ✨
After years of leaks, algae, and wear, it's now sparkling again, ready to welcome visitors ahead of America's 250th anniversary.
The water is filling back in, the views are clearer than ever, and the National Mall feels renewed and full of pride.
There's something truly special about seeing history reflected so perfectly like a reminder that we can always make things better. 🇺🇸
Who's planning a trip to DC to see it in person?

Wrong. On so many levels.
Christianity attacked Christ. They “drew near into him with their lips, but their hearts were far from him.” They “preached for doctrines the precepts of men.” They spurned at the poor, enriched themselves for church service, clad their churches in gold, and forgot everything Jesus taught them about meekness, charity, truth, contrition, brotherly kindness, and more.
When Luther prescribed “faith alone” the Christian world listened. They are devoid of every other Christlike attribute. There is a feast of hearing the word of God and a famine of following it.
It has never been more clear to us that we are hated for nothing more than our testimony of Jesus. You hate that we have one. You hate that we claim to know him.
But we do know him. And evil fruit is pouring out of your churches as a testimony against you.
@Thatbrian We are no more polytheistic than any other Christian who believes if the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.
However, you have a God that we don’t have. The creeds. You worship them as an idol. They are more important to you than faith in Christ.
Michael Knowles today on Mormon controversy:
"But I have to come out here in defense of the Mormons, because if trinitarian theology is the criterion [to be Christian], why are the Jehovah's Witnesses listed as Christian? Why are the Christian Scientists who deny the Trinity?
I'm not changing my views about the Trinity or the essential aspects of the Creed, but it does seem to me that the Mormons are being unfairly singled out here.
Everybody beats up on the Mormons all the time. Mormons are very reliable Republican voters. They live very, very good family lives. They're model citizens in many, many ways. And I do think this would be an example of them being unfairly singled out."

I personally have baptized dozens of people in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost.
But that’s not the part of the Trinity doctrine that is incorrect. The incorrect part is the idea that the three are on being in three persons. That the Father is intangible, invisible, and incomprehensible.
It also refuses to answer a fundamental question. Where is Jesus’ body? Does he have it all the time?
Mining individuals? I don’t even know what that means.
I’m not playing anything. And I agree with most of what you are saying here.
Latter-day Saints had more miracles in 25 years than Catholics and Orthodox combined in 1700 years. We still have miracles every single day. I experienced a small miracle just this past Saturday.
I am very much an advocate of miracles. In fact I spoke to our congregation on Sunday about the very topic.
But… I feel like just explaining truth as I know it has upset you. That usually for one of two reasons: I’ve either given you an uncomfortable truth or I’ve offended you somehow. I hope I didn’t offend you.
The creeds are an idol. If they stand between a person and Christ, or they become a litmus test not prescribed by Christ himself, then they are an idol.
Idolatry is the act of putting a human construct above God or in place of God.
We could argue that the creeds are the word of God, but we know better. We know exactly where they came from. They were not revealed. They were debated and voted on. They didn't even start from scripture, but from letters written by Bishops. Athenasius had a major disagreement with Arius and then everyone voted on it.
Neither side used the Bible to inform their opinions because the Bible didn't exist yet.
You are confusing us with Jehovah's Witnesses and Seventh Day Adventists. We have "many" things. Nearly every one of our "things" grew our of a question from the Bible. The original questions was "with so many sects and differences within Christianity, which is true?"
Joseph Smith read James 1:5 that invites us to ask God for wisdom. He did so and he learned within a few minutes that all the creeds had critical flaws that made them collectively "abominations in the sight of God."
He also learned immediately why. They drastically and inexcusably distorted the nature of God. How did he learn this?
He saw God the Father after asking him for answers in prayer. In person. He saw that God was not invisible. He saw that he was not intangible. He saw that he had a body of flesh and bone. And he saw him standing in the air next to his Son Jesus Christ. They were obviously not the "same being" and had their very own physical bodies.
He also confirmed many things within a few seconds. He confirmed that Jesus was in the image of his Father. He confirmed that God was glorious beyond description. He confirmed that seeing God fills you with immense love that lingers for days.
How did he know it was God? Because God told him so. He also called Joseph by name and said "This is my beloved Son. Hear him." He quoted himself from the Bible at the baptism of Christ.
Many revelations and many doctrines were revealed to Joseph Smith and many have been revealed since Joseph Smith to his succesors, but none as profound and disruptive as this.
Do we worship a different God? I can't say. But this much I can tell you. We worship the Living God and the Living Christ as described in the Bible and revealed through revelation.
