Major Setback for Lashkar-e-Taiba’s Infiltration Network & Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir
Four Pakistani terrorists, including a top Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) commander, Muhammad Faizan, were killed in a landmine explosion while attempting to infiltrate India across the Line of Control in the KG Sector of Poonch district, Jammu & Kashmir.
The deceased have been identified as Muhammad Ishtiaq, Muhammad Faizan, Muhammad Waqas and Muhammad Asim, residents of Mandla, Madarpur, Tehsil Hajira, in Pakistan-occupied Jammu & Kashmir (PoJK).
The incident highlights the persistent threat of cross-border infiltration and the importance of India’s LoC security. The deaths of four infiltrators represent a significant setback for the network attempting to push militants into Indian territory. If the reported links and identities are confirmed, the incident also raises serious questions about the infrastructure and support networks sustaining militancy across the LoC.
For India’s security forces, preventing infiltration remains as critical as eliminating threats after they cross the border. The LoC remains a frontline in India’s fight against cross-border terrorism.

Visual of Yesterday's Houthis attack on King Khalid International Airport, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia which killed at least 12 and injured more than 300 people.
If reports are accurate that all 14 missiles launched by Iran-backed Houthis struck their intended targets near Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport without a single interception, it raises serious questions about Saudi Arabia’s air-defence readiness.
The incident demands scrutiny of early-warning capabilities, radar coverage, interceptor availability and command-and-control coordination. If confirmed, the failure to intercept any incoming missile would expose a potentially critical vulnerability in protecting strategic infrastructure.
For Saudi Arabia, the challenge extends beyond this single attack, sustaining effective protection against repeated missile and drone strikes. The reported casualties make the incident even more alarming.
The key question is whether Saudi Arabia can adapt its air-defence posture quickly enough to counter an evolving threat.

This Shia-Sunni war is escalating quickly.
The Shia-Sunni divide began in 632 CE after Prophet Muhammad’s death, over who should lead the Muslim community. Sunnis supported Abu Bakr, while Shias believed leadership belonged to Ali, the Prophet’s cousin and son-in-law. The 680 CE Battle of Karbala, where Hussein, Ali’s son, was killed, became central to Shia identity. Over centuries, political rivalries, religious differences and regional power struggles intensified tensions, sometimes erupting into violence. Today, conflicts are often driven by geopolitics as well as sectarian identity.
