@hearnesque I just made up the silliest crap I could think of for this booklet. One of my favorite movies, and this was one of the last projects I worked on while at Anchor Bay.
I’m really enjoying this new blu-ray documentary from @redshirtpict about the early days of Romero & @Harbrobeanboy John Harrison’s careers. Harrison is also a wonderful composer I’ve loved for years. Fascinating stuff in here and right up my alley. Thanks @diabolikdvd for this.
(10/10) experience and an example to follow going forward. It may be just one of a thousand interviews you will have in your lifetime, but if the reactions it are any indication, there are a lot of people who will feel the same about you as I do. A sincere thanks, once again.
(9/10) the other great interviews on the new UHD/Blu-ray of ALLIGATOR. Finally, to Bryan Cranston, I can only refer to something he said in his interview. You did for me that day, what Robert Forster did for you in that production van all those years ago. You gave me a great
(8/10) edited piece is one of the best I've been involved in since I started in this profession back in 2004. Sincerest thanks to Melissa Bank, Jim Kunz, and the fine folks at Scream Factory for their help in getting this done. Also a big shout out to Justin Beahm, who produced
(7/10) it back in the mid 1980s as a young kid, was something truly rejuvenating and special. The fact that he took time out of his schedule to look back on something that most actors would have put in the rearview forever, was really impressive to me and I think the final
(6/10) with Forster on that penultimate episode of BREAKING BAD In 2013. Last year wasn't a fun year for me in a lot of ways, but being able to end it with this experience with Bryan Cranston chatting up some truly wonderful memories about a film I have loved since I first saw
(5/10) After that he shared some truly touching stories about "Bob" and how grateful he was towards the late JACKIE BROWN star for some early kindness he showed him on the set of ALLIGATOR. It was a kindness that Bryan kept with him over the years, and was delighted to re-unite
(4/10) I wasn't sure how much he would have to say about a relatively minor job from over 40 years ago, and I was hoping to get 10 minutes at the most. Nearly 30 minutes later, Bryan had extemporaneously told numerous stories from the set which were both heartfelt and hilarious.
(3/10) within 24 hours of my request, and came out to my producer Jim Kunz's studio in LA in early December to do it. I conducted the interview via FB Messenger and a well-placed iPad. Bryan was both early to the appointment and a true gentleman from the moment he got there.
(2/10) first met the late, great Robert Forster whom he would later share the screen with in the "Granite State" episode of BREAKING BAD. Bryan had spoken a little about his time on ALLIGATOR after Forster passed away a few years back. In the end, he agreed to do the interview
(1/10) In early December, I put in what I thought was a hail-mary interview request to Bryan Cranston's publicist to talk about his early experiences on the set of ALLIGATOR back in 1979. I was interested in how he ended up working as a production assistant and also how he
