Please join us in welcoming Victoria, our new Sr. Director Public Relations and Communications.

Victoria is an Emmy Award-winning communications professional with a background in broadcast journalism, having worked in newsrooms an on air across Texas and Colorado, earning three Emmy nominations along the way. Victoria has also spent time working at local non-profits making her a perfect fit for San Antonio Zoo, our story telling, community engagement and social media.

Victoria is deeply committed to service and community building, guided by a belief in leaving places better than she found them. She proudly mentors high school students, and as a first-generation college graduate, leads with purpose both in her career and at home.

San Antonio Zoo is proud to celebrate the success of its partnership with the Nellie M. Reddix Center and the Texas Workforce Commission, helping students with disabilities gain meaningful, real-world work experience.

Through the Work Skill-Building Program, students participate across multiple zoo departments throughout the academic year, building confidence, independence, and valuable career skills in a supportive environment.

As the partnership concludes its second academic year, San Antonio Zoo is honored to be nominated as a Northside ISD Outstanding Partner of the Year, recognizing its commitment to inclusive workforce development and community collaboration.
