🚀⚡️ REGENT just made history. We just completed the world's first flight of the Viceroy Seaglider prototype, the largest-ever all-electric wing-in-ground effect (WIG) craft to fly with people on board!
REGENT Demo Day was epic!!
We got 600 of our closest friends, investors, customers, partners, suppliers, and state and federal leaders to come out to @regentcraft HQ in RI, we put them on a couple ferries, and we showed off the best of REGENT with live on-water flight demos and amazing programming.
Couldnt have asked for a better audience or a better way to cut the ribbon on our Seaglider manufacturing facility and celebrate our $240M Series B.
Still buzzing from the energy in the room - thank you to everyone who came out.
Time to put that capital to work - onwards to production!
REGENT Demo Day! Today, 1 Seaglider Way officially opened its doors.
For the first time, people outside the REGENT team watched a Viceroy Seaglider fly. More than 600 customers, investors, government officials, partners, and media boarded ferries on Narragansett Bay to see our full-scale Viceroy prototype and Squire drone float, foil, and fly.
Then we cut the ribbon on the world's first Seaglider manufacturing facility: 255,000 square feet in Quonset Business Park, built to deliver 75 Viceroy vessels and 300 Squire drones a year at rate production and put Seagliders in customers' hands as early as late 2027.
Guests walked the production floor, tried the simulators, stepped inside the full-scale cabin mock-up, and heard from leaders across aviation, defense, and government about where we started and what's next.
We proved the technology and the demand. Now we build.
Thank you to everyone who celebrated this milestone with us. The future of maritime mobility is being built in Rhode Island.
Today, I visited the grand opening of @regentcraft’s new Seaglider Manufacturing Facility in North Kingstown, the first of its kind, and saw a test flight of its new seaglider.
Our state is at the cutting edge of marine engineering, supporting good paying jobs.
Our partnership with the Marine Corps War Fighting Laboratory continues. This next stage brings an additional $5 million in mission dollars, advancing on-water technology for the warfighter and furthering our nation's defense readiness.
We’re proving out the Viceroy Seaglider defense capabilities in real time, demonstrating for our Marine stakeholders how we will work to integrate further controls and operate in contested environments.

This is the moment we were building towards. The chance for our crew to prove, not just to ourselves but to the world, that Seagliders were made to fly and change the way we move on water.
The data team giving thumbs up. The test team signaling all clear. The captains in the cockpit, hands on the controls. The rest of the team gathered, holding their breaths.
Then it was time. The Viceroy Seaglider prototype lifted into the air, and together, we watched our hard work come to life.
This is the team that made it happen.

The only thing better than one Seaglider in the air? Two Seagliders!
We've been testing both the Viceroy Seaglider prototype and the Squire Seaglider drone together in Narragansett Bay, Rhode Island. Running crewed and autonomous platforms side by side shows just how far our test campaign has scaled — and illustrates what's next in maritime mobility.

#TravelTuesday: This week were headed to Greece, where Seagliders could drastically reduce the time and hassle of travel between islands. Recapture your time, reimagine your travel.
☀️ Santorini to Mykonos in 35 minutes by Seaglider, compared to 2 hours by ferry
🌊 Athens to Mykonos in 45 minutes by Seaglider, compared to 2 hours 40 minutes by ferry
😎 Athens to Santorini in 1 hours, compared to 5 hours by ferry
"Just chill here, you're good." Watching the first flight of the Viceroy Seaglider prototype never gets old. Float, foil, fly! 🎥 🌊

Heading home after an epic week of Seaglider testing — 3 successful flights completed! Huge thanks to the incredible team that made it happen. Onward to the next milestone. 🌊 📈
Despite being in 4th grade, I remember the footage.
I remember the news coverage of people running up the stairs even while those inside else ran down. And in the weeks thereafter, I remember every house in my neighborhood proudly flying an American flag.
Remembering the innocent lives lost, the bravery of the first responders, and the families who have carried it every day since.
On this 25th Anniversary, I'm proud to be an American. And hopeful we find a day of National unity to remember together.
We’re back in the air! Back to back weeks!
Historically it’s been rare for a company to go so quickly from first to second flight.
Testament to the team for their preparedness and our rapid data review processes!
Also speaks volumes to the reliability and integrity of the Seaglider that she’s been ready to get airborne again so quickly.
Flight testing is on!
Today, the REGENT Viceroy Seaglider prototype became the largest all-electric flying machine to fly more than once.
One week after our first flight, we took to the air again — twice as far and twice as long. The Seaglider covered 4,071 ft (1,240 m) at a height of 33 ft (10 m) above the water for 1 min 3 sec.
One flight proved it works. Two flights prove it's repeatable, and that's how you get to scale. Onward. 🙌
Go behind the scenes with the REGENT team that just made history as we watch the first flight of our Viceroy Seaglider prototype. 🙌
Months of engineering, testing, and problem-solving came down to this moment. We're so proud of the people who made this possible — from engineering to operations to manufacturing to business development, the entire crew has been working toward the same goal.

The best projects are the ones where you really dive in.
This photo just perfectly captures our team. Everyone across the board - engineering, technicians, executives, people, operations, sales and marketing, test, manufacturing, finance, everyone - all in on the same goal together. (And of course, loving the water)
Seagliders are cross-functional by their definition. Part boat, part plane.
And @regentcraft as a company is too: Part prototyping and test, part manufacturing. Part startup, part global OEM. Part concept, and as we continue to chip away on the technology development, more and more reality.
We have been interdiscliplinary from our inception, and that has driven a team built on world-class collaboration. Technical depth is important, but at REGENT, its not everything. We hire for breadth, for teamwork.
We're an example of how, with incredible talent density and a culture centered on cross-functional problem solving, a small team can build great things.
Only 120 today - every single person on this team has a great deal of ownership and is responsible for critical path execution. It has build a team of do-ers.
Working on this team has been the privilege of my career. The passion is unanimous and the energy is infectious. The intelligence is sometimes scary. I have learned something new literally every day.
The dedication is real - yes sometimes its a grind, but when we look to our left and right, we know with 100% confidence that our teammates will be there in the trenches with us on the big pushes. And when we push, we build incredible things. We wouldnt have it any other way.
The team at REGENT took a leap of faith to join us to make our dream of Seagliders a reality before we got it off the ground. Now we've proven it works - and its time to scale.
With a fresh $240M Series B and successful flight under our belts, we're in growth mode!
We're hiring across the board with new roles being posted weekly.
If you're ready to dive in on the adventure of a lifetime, and bring to market the first new mode of transportation in nearly a century, join our crew.

"Three, two, one, now!" This is the moment we made history — the first flight of the human-crewed Viceroy Seaglider prototype.
Our two captains onboard summed it up best: "Beautiful." "Hell yeah!"
It’s honestly the most sweet when you get to celebrate with those who were in the trenches with you.
So freakin proud of this REGENT team!
