Trump was Presidential, already in 2024 form. He even re-branded CNN and its host--"Nasty"--and they certainly were. CNN produced the Town Hall as if it were a cage match. The moderator was, let's say, miscast. CNN will not be a quick fix, lacking only management, editorial and on-air talent. CNN's CEO Chris Licht badly missed his chance to broaden its audience, lift its dismal ratings, to move its editorial direction toward the center (which is where their boss says he wants them to be), and show off experienced, knowledgeable talent in a warm, open setting and discussion. They not only failed--they ran from opportunity, and they ran from Trump (literally, bailing out 21 minutes early--their best choice of the night) and he won the audience and the hour--the one win for CNN: their ratings will be higher than they'll see again soon without a massive disaster or other event that cable news feeds on.

Disagreeing with them is fine but CNN just did something that the entire left is fuming over.

They took a break from peddling one agenda and allowed a former president, who has been censored to an insane degree, to speak freely to the American people.
