Discovery of antibodies in RenMice completely eliminates the need for artificial humanization. Offering the most comprehensive coverage of the human VDJ loci available, RenMice generate robust immune responses w/ a diverse antibody repertoire for screening following immunization.
Although antibodies generated in wild-type animals can be artificially humanized for further clinical development, these extra engineering steps are often costly and time-consuming, and may compromise affinity to the desired antigen.
