Can we really say that a government that repeatedly cannot guarantee safety, security, free passage or assembly has fulfilled its basic role protecting its citizens? And if it cannot do so now now,should it have another 5 yrs to continue to fail?

These diseases are not incurable or manageable. They can be managed, diagnosed early, even reversed.
We have the resources. We can be resourceful.
But we cannot move forward with the leaders & leadership style we have. No matter who we put in place.

I am surrounded by these kind of stats daily & it is angering. We have to get so angry in this country that we no longer accept to be shouted at from the tops of Prados by people who will not listen & actively resolve such basic issues as healthcare & accountability

I came to learn that every region in Kenya seems to be fighting its own health battle. Central ni diabetes na blood pressure, North Eastern ni kidney na gastric issues, Meru ni cancer, huko Nyanza ni malaria na sickle cell.

I have been watching and listening to the political discourse. Let's be clear. We cannot continue as we are right now. This is not possible. If this (1st term) was the 'honeymoon period",the "marriage" (2nd term) would be hell. We need to call it off now, now.

37 years ago at Kenya Utalii College with my colleagues in Management class.

Easy like Sunday afternoon , tea session

From right: Josphat Ngali Mamy from Madagascar, Koskei, Suleiman Kazi [ now deceased], Symon Nyamu and yours truly Mr Optimist.

✅️We never paid fees at Utalii it was 100% free, ✅️Continental breakfast, 3 course lunch and dinner ,
✅️Hotel management and Tour Guide students will share 2 in a room while the rest would be 4 . This were very large rooms.
✅️Hot showers, clean washrooms

+++.

👌Icing on the cake we were paid a monthly allowance and end of semester transport to go home. Tafakari hayo.
