Dodge County Sheriff Schmidt testified in Madison today. He advocated for Assembly Bill 633, which will reduce the time and expense for sheriffs and police departments in transporting people in need of emergency detention.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor has released its second quarter report on county employment and wages and I am pleased to see that Winnebago County has seen a 9% increase in wages, the 4th best in the nation!

In 2017, Wisconsin’s tax burden was the seventh highest in the nation.

We've since moved all the way down to 19th highest. This incredible reduction in the tax burden was made possible through common sense conservative budgeting.

Attorney General Josh Kaul announced that the Drug Take Back Day, held on October 26th, was a success!

Wisconsin had a total collection of 60,472 lbs. of unused or unwanted prescription medications, the second largest collection in the nation!
