✅Another FY27 funding bill passed by the House!
The FY27 Agriculture, Rural Development, and Food and Drug Administration funding bill is an important step forward in supporting our nation’s farmers, ranchers, and producers. Read more about how this bill provides targeted relief for our poultry industry and other businesses in Arkansas’s Third District: https://t.co/aU8jwbJG9j
It also delivers critical investments for the Third District, including $1.28 million for water system improvements in Winslow and $4 million to expand water infrastructure in Springdale.
I’m proud to have secured this funding to strengthen our communities and look forward to supporting this bill on the House Floor.
ICYMI, @HouseAppropsGOP advanced the FY27 Interior and Environment funding bill yesterday. Its provisions unlock American energy resources from oil and gas to critical minerals and blocks unnecessary restrictions on our hunters and fishers.
That makes it 8 out of full committee!
At its core, the FY27 Interior bill - led by @CongMikeSimpson – is about strong stewardship. We effectively balance conservation, responsible resource development, and the long-term management of our public lands.

A severe lack of truck parking puts drivers, the traveling public, and the supply chain at risk.
Thanks to @rep_stevewomack and @HouseAppropsGOP, an additional $200 million in funding to alleviate this crisis is closer to becoming law.
The tally continues! We just hit 9 bills out of full committee.
The FY27 THUD measure, led by @Rep_SteveWomack, advances critical investments in infrastructure, mobility, and housing while strengthening communities and building a more connected America.
📣@HouseAppropsGOP just advanced my FY27 Transportation and Housing funding bill.
America’s outstanding level of mobility and housing affordability has long set our nation apart and represents key components of the American Dream. As THUD Chair, my FY27 bill builds on that reputation of excellence, ensuring that we responsibly fund @USDOT and @HUDgov.
I am also proud of the investments this bill makes in Arkansas’s Third District. From water systems to bridges and highways, this legislation brings home $99 million in Community Project Funding to strengthen infrastructure as our region continues to grow.
.@HouseAppropsGOP is meeting NOW to mark up my FY27 Transportation-HUD funding bill.
As I outlined in my opening remarks, this bill will strengthen the safety and efficiency of our transportation sector and promote housing affordability and economic development in our communities.
Subcommittee Chairman @rep_stevewomack gavels in on his FY27 THUD measure:
"Whether on our railways, roads, or in the skies, ensuring greater transportation safety was a core tenet in drafting the contents of this package."

Because of the Working Families Tax Cuts I helped pass last year, millions of American families and workers received expanded tax relief this past filing season. Read more:
New analysis of this past tax filing season confirms @POTUS’ Working Families Tax Cuts delivered the largest share of tax relief directly to millions of low- and middle- income Americans providing for their families, working overtime, living on fixed incomes, and running small businesses.
@ArkansasOnline is highlighting 50 notable Arkansans throughout America’s 250-year history. J.B. Hunt is rightly one of them. Read more about how Hunt transformed our nation’s transportation industry and supply chain operations: https://t.co/G3EMggK9Ev
It’s always a highlight of my year to take part in the National Memorial Day Concert. But this year, on our 250th anniversary, the program paid especially meaningful tribute to our fallen service members throughout our history who gave their lives for our freedom.

“I have been blessed with incredible parents and an amazing upbringing thanks to the hard work of my parents and grandparents and the opportunities that the greatest nation on earth afforded them. Additionally, I was blessed to have gotten to know a number of veterans through volunteer opportunities with Levi Douthit VFW Post 1674 and the VA hospital in Fayetteville where my mother works in palliative care. This exposure to men and women, who not only served in uniform, but have also continued to serve their communities after hanging up the uniform has and continues to have a profound effect on my perspective and desire to pursue a life of service.”
🧵Congratulations to the extraordinary young men and women of Arkansas’s Third Congressional District who are graduating from our nation’s service academies this year:

I asked each of these leaders what inspired them to follow a path of service to our nation. Read some of their responses below or in my latest newsletter: https://t.co/JkDb15WbzK

"Our country has given me so many opportunities, and the ability to serve is, in my opinion, the best way to make sure future generations are able to receive similar opportunities.”
