So Communities can be saved when it helps recruit famous streamers, but the people who spent years building them here are supposed to just lose theirs?
Most people know Twitter Beta existed, but far fewer remember Twitter VIT, an invite-only app most people never even knew existed.
I published a deep dive documenting Twitter VIT, along with screenshots and onboarding footage from the app itself.

@SimonBalmain@dearkimberlykay Thanks Simon! 🙏
Yeah, I got that impression tbh. Honestly, I think a lot of the features probably would’ve eventually just been folded into Twitter itself rather than staying as a separate app long-term.
Happy fucking birthday to one of the most beautiful souls I know. You’re such an incredible friend, and even when life tries to knock you down, you always find a way to keep going.
I love you so much, @dearkimberlykay 💚

I used to work at Apple, this message doesn’t show up for no reason. It means the phone detected moisture in the charging port or cable and is blocking charging to prevent damage.
It doesn’t have to be obvious water either. Steam from a shower, humidity, or lint holding moisture can trigger it.
