In despising and turning away from Protestantism, many converts to Rome and EO are in fact turning away and despising America, which is a Protestant nation at its core. They claim to be conservative - in fact, radically conservative - but it is a rejection of America for a European version of society and politics that is alien to American soil.
These books are FANTASTIC, folks—the BEST I’ve EVER read! Tremendous, the most handsome books you’ve ever seen. Nobody does books better, believe me! Total winners! 🇺🇸 📚
@merelyjwright@WillyRice 100% agree here. It's not right for messengers to get stranded at a mic or to have to plead for an extra 4 minutes for business when the Shanes get to go over time or we're subject to yet another video.
It's our one time of the year for action. Let's make it count!
Hey. @bendellwerry & I have a podcast.
We brought on @rhett_burns & @nickduncan0627 to talk about the SBC & PCA following their big yearly gathering.
Might be worth a listen. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Momma & Daddy just called me & we talked about today’s sermon for about 45 mins. They had so many questions. We never went to church together one time growing up. Now we in church every Sunday. Chasing Jesus. It’s never too late. Ain’t God good!
When you think of America, you think of hot dogs, front porches, county fairs, cowboys, baseball, fast cars, pickup trucks, Sunday church, fireworks, barbershops, open fields, small towns, innovatitve cities, faithful mothers, present fathers, family farms, Friday night lights, soldiers coming home, boys learning to shake hands, girls with ribbons in their hair, neighbors helping neighbors, the Revolutionary War, and old men standing for the flag.
You think of a virtuous people who valued liberty. Not liberty as license, but a free people ordered toward what is true, good, and beautiful.
When you think of America, you're thinking of a people and a place. A home.
Happy 250th Independence Day. May God bless you and your families, and may God bless America 🇺🇸
CHARLIE KIRK: “America is a PEOPLE with shared history, values, and geography. You cannot replace Americans with non-Americans and have it still be America.”
Today is my first official day as EIC at AmRef. @tlloydcline has done an amazing job of building this journal the past couple years and deserves a lot of credit and thanks for his labors. As I take the reins, I thought it appropriate to offer up an editorial vision for the direction I intend to take the journal. There will be continuity as well as change. We will announce these changes as we roll them out in the coming weeks. I hope you all will take some time to celebrate the blessings of our nation at its 250th anniversary and give thanks to God for the immense blessings he has bestowed upon us. As was said at the first public reading of the Declaration at the State House in Boston, so I say again, God bless these American states!

Christian nations are being taken over, and we are in a new era where war is not even needed. The conquest happens within, at the hands of its own leaders, and given over to godless nations…again all from within.
What does the President of the Southern Baptist Convention think about "Loser Theology"?
"This is the corrective call we need to the misguided counsel that celebrates the demise of cultural Christianity while we whisper about truths that demand to be proclaimed with boldness." — Willy Rice

The ERLC still needs to 1) officially retract its support for mass amnesty and endorsement of Maria Salazar’s Dignity Act, and 2) remove its name from the letter used to kill a bill which would have abolished abortion in Louisiana
This? This isn’t even close to a “Top 20” issue worth our time and resources
A lot of coverage on how the SBC is moving right, and how momentum for institutional renewal is surging.
This article from Kiera Butler at Mother Jones is one of the better ones and has lots of good quotes.
I’d quibble with the framing (e.g., I don’t see the rightward shift as being Christian Nationalism per se, but rather about rising leaders wanting more accountability, transparency and faithfulness from SBC institutions).
But the article is fundamentally correct to recognize Orlando 2026 as a direction change driven by the wide coalition of actors involved with @BaptistLeaders, and key voices like @WilliamWolfe, @megbasham, @jrwhitehead, @jonharris1989, @rhett_burns, @dmichaelclary and many others.

With momentum building for SBC renewal, selling our downtown Nashville headquarters is a massive mistake. The good news is that the sale process can still be canceled.
While other denominations announce their decline by liquidating HQs, Southern Baptists should stand apart from the herd.
Save the building at 901 Commerce. Prime real estate in a booming city. Home to our irreplaceable historical library and archives.
Repurpose it for the future:
💠Expanded public archives and museum celebrating our heritage and faithfulness
💠Renovated space for SBC business
💠Leased offices and event space for aligned ministries advancing the gospel mission
Hold the appreciating asset. Preserve and build upon what our ancestors in the faith built.
Generate revenue while investing in renewal instead of financing problems by selling the family silver. This is how institutions endure for generations.
A very good article about @BaptistLeaders from @MotherJones (!)
The goal was never to remake the SBC with imports, but giving voice to the masses of Bible-believing SBC churches.
2026 shows CBL has the pulse of the mainstream SBC.
