@SurvivingNeuron I agree completely. I think if we’re having the conversation though it’s worth saying that there IS some set lore and “mechanics” in bg3 that influence the context/implications of the story and it goes deeper than how we view it through a real-life lens.

Idk correct me if I’m wrong but something that’s rubbing me the wrong way abt the astarion scars convo is it doesn’t really make sense to say “he’s white so it doesn’t matter” when this is a fantasy universe with its own history of racism/discrimination.

and I mean this in the way that in this setting different races can be representative of real life history/struggles/commentary, and it feels a bit like a cop out to only focus on the color of someone’s skin to completely shut down a valid conversation

I was awake but drugged for the procedure and I thought people were exaggerating when they said you can hear the sinus cartilage cracking but no you hear it literally the whole time. It’s actually insane

@bhaalspcwn Balloon sinuplasty with a turbinate reduction and a few other things to open/realign my sinuses. Doesn’t hurt bc of the numbing but the other sensations are WEIRD
