@RCTCouncil@swpolice There is a rainbow sheen of an oil or diesel leak for the full length of Rhigos Mountain Road A4061 . Very slippery and dangerous : worse travelling to Treherbert.
@RCTCouncil@AndrewMorganRCT dashcam from 8am today. Grit has been ineffective , was it gritted last night or this morning for commuters? Also, poor drainage means running water has made sheet ice overnight. Very dangerous.
@RhigosMountain@RCTCouncil There is a tractor plough and gritter on the mountain from 4pm and a further highways gritter sent to both maerdy and rhigos mountains at 3.45pm

Temporary traffic lights have been put in place at the pictured location as a necessary safety measure. Mitigation work will begin tomorrow (Wednesday, February 26), with initial repairs carried out under traffic lights over the coming days (2/3)
